Come now, dear Nathaniel! The Joma ones were clearly worse, for a start. Not to mention the Dryworld ones, in execution if not quite as much in design.

I've also never actually had one, but I have seen Kelme kits get rave reviews in terms of construction and quality from people who actually design kits.

 

They are really good quality. Compared to when we've had Puma or Adidas recently (when the kits are made by a different cheapo company, but licensed with the bigger brand) they are so much better. I'd much rather we have a slightly jazzy kit, but it's unique and well made then a template that any sunday league side could buy for a £5er.

 

I like it. Not sure why, but I do like it. Kelme make good stuff.

That said, as has been the case in previous years, I’ll probably end up buying a training shirt when they drop prices later in year, because those have typically been superior (and cheaper) to the actual matchday shirt. Particularly if the leaked away shirts ends up being the training wear, which I suspect is the case, I’ll be all over the blue one.

As ever, few things spark this place into life like the release of three new shirts for our sorry misfits to soil.

Liked last season's kit a lot, thought the one the year before was pretty decent.

This, however, is an embarrassment. As if the club wasn't already enough of one.

 

Looks like someone has performed a dirty protest on a yellow shirt after a night on the Guinness...

 

Can't speak to the actual quality of shirts from specific brands through the years - not bought one since I was about 16 - but design wise this one is truly, truly horrific.

 

Ah the kit designer was changing their newborns nappy and just thought "yep, that'll do".

 

What in the actual ****.....

 

I guess it's a bit like marmite, you either love it or you hate it. I personally hate it.

Absolute mentalists. I can just about understand a market for signed, authentic matchworn shirts but buying underlayers or a shirt worn by Samir in a meaningless pre-season friendly is ridiculous.

I assume you mean as leisurewear. It’s certainly not a Watford shirt.

 

Bit more Dortmund than Watford, but it's nice you can get it without the sponsor, and I don't hate it. I have last year's shirt, and it is pretty good quality compared to Adidas, etc. and quite unique design compared to most. Swap the black and yellow and I'd give it 8/10.

 

It’s a darts shirt without the collar. Sadly for some they will only realise this when they slip into the 5XL version

 

Exciting auction, going almost right to the wire! Slightly odd that they say it's a short sleeve top and he's wearing a long sleeve one in the photo.

I presume whatever weirdo bought it is going to sniff it.

 

Reminds me of this equally skiddy Wolves kit from the early 90s.

I can only assume it was a junior hornet prize winner who designed it. Trying to work out if it's yellow with black smeared over it or vice-versa.
