Palace have also spoken to Adi Hutter, the guy we were linked with.

Wonder if he would walks around the pitch milking the applause if they got relegated?

Not that I think Palace will .

Their main issue is a lack of goals - not sues Roy will do much to change that ?

With their run of games basically against everyone below them they’ll probably do enough .

An odd draw and 1-0 win here and there .

Hope he fails miserably and gets relegated again, the horrible, saggy, melted faced, old goat.

I mean people in glass houses and all that, but crawling back to Hodgson after an apparent sea change is utterly pathetic on their part.

Is this the bloke whose club gets fined every match he manages them for not having any coaching qualifications whatsoever but he's got an obscenely good record?

Now confirmed it seems. Perfect. As I said on the other thread, their relegation can be confirmed in their second last game at Craven Cottage, so he can walk round the stadium blowing kisses to show his love to the Fulham fans after the final whistle....

Yep that’s the one, because he doesn’t have the appropriate badges. He also switches effortlessly between fluent French and English when barracking his players and it’s pretty funny:

So 25% of Premier League managers are former Watford coaches, with Edwards a strong possibility to join them. That's just crazy.

I think it's pretty obvious where our problems lie and it's not with the head coach.

That's actually quite a disappointingly low %, given 41% of all football managers have at some point managed us.

To be fair, there’s an interview with him currently on Sky Sports online where he has a laugh about the Football Manager thing - but it’s clearly been taken wildly out of context as he’s been coaching for 10 years. He just didn’t hold the highest Pro badges which is what is needed in France. But he had been coaching in Belgium for years. He does hold the badges below the top level. He’s basically Xisco but without ever having played to a top level.

It’s still a remarkable job he’s doing - but by his own admission, it’s not quite the fairytale story the media have portrayed.

That is absolutely mental. I was surprised to see Palace fans hounding Hodgson out after the good work he had done, but I'd be more surprised if any are delighted to see him return.

A great opportunity for the old ba5tard to add another relegation to his CV. Come on Woy, you can do it

I wonder if he'll shake everyone's hand at Palarse once he relegates them?

Needs to be put down rather than given another go at football management. Hopefully Palarse will hire some personal carers for him to ensure his bench-side commode is emptied frequently.

Not sure about that - those below them are all within 3-4 points of Palace with at least one game in hand. Plus Palace have the worst form in the league based on the last 10 games. The likes of Leeds, Leicester, Everton and even Southampton will probably be coming in to their games in a better mood than Palace.

On some sites you can still get Palace to be relegated at 5/1 - which seems quite sensational odds given their situation.

I have never wanted anyone to fail more than him at Palace. He is the biggest disgrace I have ever seen manage us, his behaviour when we got relegated was sickening and made us look like an even bigger joke than we already were.

I'm actually sickened by this, Vieira was doing a decent job, has a horrible fixture list but is still above the drop zone, the Palace board get twitchy and in comes Hodgson to 'save' them now they've got some easier games

Let's face it, we were all taken in by his twinkling, avuncular act. In reality he despised us and royally screwed us.

I think he never got over the Harry the Hornet "Zaha" moment when we beat them 2-1. Sour grapes and all that. He was never the right fit, but neither was CR70. May as well of kept Xisco after all.

In other news, Crystal Palace are announcing a change to their stadium name.

Selhurst Park will shortly be known as Jurassic Park

Roy Hodgsons date of birth is closer to when Watford FC was formed than it is to the current day.

Palace were only formed in 1905 so he has probably almost been a fan since the start !

What would be better, Hodgson taking Palace down or Luton not going up?
