I do watch them occasionally, but I watched him in Italy, while he was on loan, like I explained. If there is a game with a Watford or Barca player on loan I know is playing, I will watch it, just to see what he’s like. I think that’s quite normal really, but maybe not. I don’t know.

 

I always thought Gosling was a free, disappointed to hear that he broke the Pozzos' record of never spending a penny in the Championship!

He may also have had some intermediary role given he was involved in 2 of our recent batch of Nigerian transfers (Dennis and Kalu) and one of the indictments against him is forging papers / bribing Nigerian officials to get Nigerian NT caps. But Okoye does have his own agent so could just be chance.

In any event, I think the point still stands as we are talking 4-8m on normal signings and >50m on Mogi signings over the last 3 years. Its pretty fishy.

As an aside when did the club actually start getting involved with Mogi? Its a relatively recent (last 3 or 4 years) thing isnt it? I dont recall him being around/mentioned in the early years. I notice that Manaj had a loan spell with Granada n 2017, so presumably the Pozzos now him from then?

Where have you seen this? On Twitter, the more recent sources and articles seem to point him coming here or Getafe and us competing for him.

People I know who get accurate information. Plus some reliable Spanish outlets have also reported it. It hasn't just come from lazy Granada links.

And by no means am I trying to start an argument either - but everything is supposition unless you get to see private paperwork, texts, call logs from agents etc. So you can say everything is false until it happens?!

I understand the scepticism when 100's of rumours fly around and only a fraction turn out to be true (enquiries about Piroe for instance are, to date, total nonsense) but there then seems to be some who want to go too far the other way and assume we must not have been interested if the player doesn't come or picks someone else.

 

So he’s not coming after all? Was it worth getting all worked up over folks.
