How is Cucho's injury? Is it serious or will he be fit for the weekend?

Jokes above aside, I noticed his hamstring was heavily taped when he came off - so seems he was played as a risk. I guess given his form and our situation it was understandable....but when you see we had Dennis and Kalu available, does make you wonder whether it was wise.

What if he doesn’t want to stay here and doesn’t want to renew? Maybe their fault for not renewing him last year but if he doesn’t want to stay, or extend and leave on loan, it’s not really worth having him around sulking.

Mental decision move for him - retiring in his early 20s just for a bit of extra cash now, when he would make more of the back of one good season in the champ / PL. I'd be absolutely shocked no La Liga clubs would be after him.

Heard all the same excuses for Hughes, Chalobah, Estupinan, Suarez. The goons need to get busy on contract maintenance for assets rather than looking after desperate valueless veterans like Kabasele, Cathcart, Cleverly and absolute garbage like Sema. I am so sick of the excuses offered for our constant squad mismanagement which leaves us with expensive dross.

 

If he wants to go play in the MLS then good luck to him. I can't fault his attitude or ability - I hope it works out for him over there.

I can't see us getting a player in of equal standard of quality though.

 

I hope we have a massive sell on fee of 40-50% of the overall transfer fee, not just the profit. He will absolutely dog walk the MLS and leave for £20mil in 2 years, if that. Anything under £15mil and we’ve been absolutely done.

Edit: Let me clarify as my blood is boiling at this. If we get £15mil, then no sell on clause. Anything between £10-14mil got to have a 20-25% sell on. Anything under £10mil, which is what it sounds like, then has to be a 40-50% sell on clause.
