If we have a number 10 behind a big striker and a little striker, as Edwards seems to like, I’d have Pedro, a new big striker and then Cucho as the smaller poacher type. Pedro could dictate games at the level as a number 10.
We've seen JP as a central striker, as a winger, and even as a midfielder (where I believe he played as a kid), but not as I believe as a #10, although I don't see any reason he can't be a really good #10
Inflation is out of control. To be fair, if your source is the local Esso petrol station proprietor they'd know all about exorbitant overnight increases. Sort it out Rishi!
Sorry Pedro. His career will go down the drain soon if he doesn’t settle (or someone doesn’t make him settle) on an exact position.
Correction: The coach needs to pick a position for him, and allow him some consistency playing in it. I'm pretty sure that they don't go out on the pitch and say "I'll play wing today"
Yep. These are 2 we need to keep if remotely serious about promotion next season. I fully expect both to go to Granada for about £10 million
I know for sure that there is no way he is going back to Brazil. It makes no sense for us to loan him to a Brazilian side (unless he's homesick but that's unlikely considering his family live over here with him) and no Brazilian side could afford to buy him. Absolute non-starter.
Not quite accurate. Their record has been mixed. They got promoted, finished top half for two seasons and got to the Europa League quarter-finals under Diego Martinez but just screwed up this season. Not sure you can draw too many Pozzo-related conclusions given their mixed record since being sold.
