https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...news/aston-villa-transfer-news-young-22886612 Not sure how true this is.
Did we establish whether we actually offered him a contract in the summer? If we did and he rejected us after all that sh!te he spouted then he can do one.
I don’t think we were ever actually in for him, he made noises about wanting to come back here, but it was all with a view to getting a new/better deal for himself with Inter or elsewhere.
Very useful addition as could cover a few positions (I'm thinking right back) and takes a very good set piece
Talked about how much he loved Watford, would walk back here from Italy, then took the money at Villa. Is he what we need at this moment? Not sure.
He's 36. It's a yes from me. Also - one of my fave players back in the day. I know we sold him to Villa (cannot remember the figure). I am almost certain it was him or Webber who went to the front of the Watford fans' after scoring and did hi-fives with all the disabled supporters that day. Never forgotten that.
Not that good, not that cheap and even older than the rest of our ancient outfield players. Welcome back Ashley!
In the English Premier League season 2021/22, Ashley Young has played 7 matches (plus 5 as a sub). They have 1 shot on target from a total of 5 shots and have scored 0 goals (0.41 xG). Ashley Young averages 22 passes per match with a pass completion rate of 81%, and has 2 assists.
Not for me this one. I actually don't mind a few old heads around the place but we have plenty and at 36 you'd have to think a hamstring would probably keep out for the rest of the season. Did well against Sarr in the first game TBF once the other lad had gone off for counselling.
I always liked Ashley until he chose to go to Villa instead of us after saying he would walk all the way back from Italy to play for Watford again
I still cant get out of my mind the image of his sex face when revealed by The Currant Bun whilst live camming
Never forget former players who celebrate scoring against us. Shows their character off perfectly. The blokes a ****.
The bloke was playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world and was fighting to reignite his career there. He banged two quality goals you can't blame him for celebrating.
Looks plausible with Digne arriving at left back for Villa. He’s dropped to the bench and he might fancy his chances of starting under Roy. I didn’t love him for his goals and celebration against us. But these are just moments in history. Don’t need to read too much into what he’s said about coming back home. Do I read the Sun? No. Does he love us more than Villa? Who cares? Can he do a job for us if he stays fit? Yes. Is his injury record good? Yes. Is he better than Masina? Yes. So it seems I’m saying yes more than no.
He's 36. He simply isn't up to it any more. Forget the celebration he probably didnt think we'd be dumb enough to bring him back at this late stage of his career. Also Helguson was ok coming back after sinilar.
Was he the one who some floozy reported did handstands after coitus, so blood would rush to his throbber quicker to allow him to go again. Always impressed me that.
Not a problem being 36 if he’s only here to get us out of trouble for a few months. But I agree that he’s not quite the player he was. And neither is Ronaldo at 36, but he’s still decent.
Helguson. Never forgot his Debut goal against Liverpool at the Vic. leveling it up a 2-2 (we still lost the game), but he was quite the unit, Okakka reminded me of him as well.
Wouldn’t that actually make blood flood out of your throbber seeing as your heart would be below it? Can anyone on here verify it’s effectiveness?
Not sure, when I'm done I can barely be bothered to get up and wipe my kock on the curtains, let alone do handstands. Can any forum lotharios educate us?
