Not surprising, from the BBC webpage, someone needs English lessons " Fewer " what happened to less Rafael Benitez: Everton sack manager after fewer than seven months in charge
...and in that parallel universe that Planet Geordie inhabits: they're (50%) blaming Everton for not sacking him sooner so he could have returnred to NewOmnishables Utd whilst the other 50% are clamouring for him to be b(r)ought back as Director of Football.
Martinez currently favourite and contact has been made apparently. Can’t see it happening as the fan reaction is already borderline ‘burn down Goodison’ to the suggestion. Can’t see anyone but Rooney. Although I think it’ll be a shame as he’s proving many wrong in how he’s doing at Derby. The Everton job is a never ends well one.
Benitez will just sit it out and wait for Howe to be sacked, Howe will get sacked in March I reckon, Benitez goes back and trys to save them but will be kept on if they do go down. I dont know if he would take the DoF job to be honest seeing as he probably wants the managers job, the manager thinks he wants his job and the tension in that scenario would be difficult.
