It what will come as a shock to the rest of the wfcforum members, Markoa$ has been released. A light night meeting with the owner of the company he is employed with resulted in a shock promotion as to where Markoa$ was asked to oversee the largest branch of the company. With multiple locations to offer, the owner decided that Markoa$ was the one he wanted spearheading the organization. With this promotion it sadly means that the wfcforum is losing one it’s most prevalent posters. A poster who brings about so much joy, wisdom and knowledge to the game. It will be very hard filling his boots. We were able to catch a few moments with the newly promoted superstar and here’s what he had to say; “I’m still in shock, normally when your boss wants to meet with you, you immediately begin to think about where you’re going next. Obviously I’m excited, it’s an incredible opportunity, but I also know the pressure is on. The success of our largest branch is now on my shoulders. The company believe I’m the one to take it forward, so they are backing me, but I’m under no illusions that my job is safe. I have to prove why they made the right choice. I know that means longer hours and more time away from the things I love outside of my wife and kids. Life was already about to get busier as my wife and I are expecting our third child later this year, add on top this promotion, and I sadly know this means one of the things I have to give up is the wfcforum. I simply will not have the time to logically debate with anyone anymore. My contribution will be minimal at best and I hate that. I love sparking debates, being a happy clapper (this season), and not backing down from my position when others are against me. At the end of the day we all support and love Watford FC and that will never change. That’s what unites us in our cause and passion, our love for the club. So I’m sad to say goodbye to the forum members, I will pop in from time to time for sure.” Wow such a heart felt message from one of the forums greatest ever legends. He will be truly missed. Sadly in life we know that all good things eventually come to an end, in this case it’s one of those moments that has come to soon and will shock the wfcforum community. A week of mourning is highly encouraged.
Crikey, this is good news for you Markoa and I wish you all the very best in your new role and future career, but for some like me who don't have the broader knowledge or perspective, it's bad news. I will miss your contributions and I do hope you will still post occasionaly when time allows. Thank you.
Congrats, though a shame as you were one of the best posters for discussing and coming up with transfer suggestions. We didn't agree on everything, but we'll always have (not signing) Toney.
Your username is by far the hardest to pronounce in my head when reading posts, and I'll always remember you for that x
Congrats on the promotion and you will be missed. Of course we both know the real reason is our private bet via PMs and your realisation after yesterday that you’re gonna lose as win finish bottom 5 Hopefully you’ll still be able to post every now and then ????
Leventhal never told us that you were the next one. Sorry to see Xisco go, but I suppose it was inevitable.
All the best Markoa$. Good luck in your new job and whatever the future brings. Your always more than welcome back anytime.
Why oh why do we persist in continuing with threads on people who have left the club? (Anyone think we let Vydra go too soon?)
Good luck my lad. Do your best to pop in from time to time. All the success in the world to you and best wishes to your family.
‘Seen yesterday at 12.48.’ Why is it only posting on here that’s not compatible with the new job, but coming on for a look around every day is? I don’t get it.
