On his way to Real Mallorca in a loan deal according to this Spanish site. http://cadenaser.com/emisora/2018/08/06/radio_mallorca/1533549134_490522.html The arrival of Pervis Estuviñán to Real Mallorca seems to be very close. The Ecuadorian player, 20, belongs to Watford, his current coach, Javi Gracia, does not have the player for this season so he is looking for a way out. Pervis plays in the left-back position. His arrival at the club would be on loan. The defender knows the Spanish league where last year was loaned to UD Almeria, where he participated in 27 games with two assists. Pervis is international Sub20 with the selection of Ecuador and other teams such as Almería, Córdoba and Cádiz
Not a criticism of your post - just all the articles this morning - including the Observer had it spelled incorrectly
It's a highly rated Ecuadorian left back that we'll see playing for us next year - assuming he progresses on loan this season
They probably did the same as me and just cut + paste from the same article. I should apply for a job there as head rubbish rumour reporter!
I doubt a season in the Spanish second division will have him ready for the PL next season. This guy supposedly could have been with us this season so not sure WP was a problem - why not find him a better standard of football?
Garcia is coming from the second division isn't he ? So he won't be ready for first team action either ?
I’m not saying that it’s definite. But you do have to wonder, at his age, why Garcia is kicking about in the 2nd division over there? If he’s as highly rated as claimed, and as cheap as is also being said, why have no La Liga clubs taken him before now?
So annoying. This means that we have Holebas as back up for the season. Might as well throw in the towel, forfeit the season and build for the championship.
Pervis has passed his medical at Mallorca. The latest report doesn't say if it's a loan or permanent transfer. https://ib3.org/estupinan-passa-revisio-medica-amb-el-mallorca.html Estupiñán passes a medical checkup with Mallorca. The Ecuadorian comes to reinforce the left side of the Mallorquinista set. The last reinforcement of Mallorca, Pervis Estupiñán, is already in Palma. The Ecuadorian soccer player passed the medical examination with the red set today dusk. The left side of 20 years will join the training sessions when the team returns from the tour through Andalusian lands. Estupiñán surrendered from the English Watford. Last season he played with Almería in the Second Division.
2 year loan in La Liga at Osasuna. Recall option after 1st year. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...an-will-spend-two-years-on-loan-with-osasuna/
That's good for him. Aside from the experience, 2 years there means he'll be able to get his Spanish passport (if he doesn't have one already).
You know exactly what will happen, he’ll be a revelation, WHU will get the plaudits for scouting him and we’ll be made out as a basket case for letting him go.
