He's left-footed isn't he? The shot did look an enticing option, although most left-wingers these days are right-footers who cut inside onto their strong foot in that scenario

All part of him gaining experience. He definitely should have squared to Gray for the first and Gray was right to tell him so. The second opportunity he should have gone it alone rather than squaring. Inexperience showed in both chances.

He is a huge talent though, no doubt about it.

He is a huge talent and this season has shown massive improvement. If we don't go up he will flourish in the championship. If we do go up, I just don't think we'll be able to risk developing him in the premier league. It's a shame as he is exciting to watch.

Hopefully he can push on again in the summer and be good enough for the premier league though.

Well Xisco obviously preferred him over Gray so that's a positive for the future in my books. He's going to be massively off the pace of a Championship game considering the injuries and not having played a competitive game since Jan 2019.

I still believe he has the ability to come good but he had better hurry up and show his worth to the club.

I actually didn't think the pass to Gray was on for the first one as the defender was in the way so he was right to shoot, although not sure why he didn't smash it with his left rather than running round it for weaker foot. Second one, he just marginally overhit it but was the right decision as would've been a tap in for Gray.

Wasn't able to watch, but did hear the odd bit of radio commentary on match day live. The commentators seemed to feel that his touches were heavy. Do you who watched agree? If so, did it look like rust and/or excitement from the lack of game time - or similar to anything you've seen from him before?

There was one point early in the second half that he was though one on one, his first touch was fine but his second was just too much and the keeper got out in time.

On more than one occasion he got his feet tangled up,especially when presented with a relatively smile first half chance, which he missed completely.
He lacked speed which you can understand given the severity of the injury.
Not overly impressive but I suppose the best news for him was that he was on the pitch and playing.
Whether his pace has gone is probably too soon to tell.
He did play a nice pass for JP that resulted in the first goal.

Luckily we scored from that corner, but I can't have been alone in thinking that could have been a golden opportunity to stretch the lead!

Hopefully it doesn't come down to it and JP is fit, Sarr was as threatening as always, but we didn't look as potent as usual

I'm not sure what I expected from Success today but his performance was truly diabolical. We all know about his ability, he's utter *****. But the lack of effort and not even bothering to challenge for headers mean I'm honestly not bothered about seeing him play for us again. Premier League - crap and always injured. Championship - just crap. Bin him off in the summer to some Turkish club, could yet get some decent money for him.

I really thought the Championship might be his level but he looks just as clueless in this league. I'm sure people could argue that he would have looked better with a full pre-season and more game time but I don't think that would change a thing. Utter garbage footballer.

Think that was perhaps the only thing that wasn't his fault. Hughes delayed the pass and then played it behind him.

An absolute waste of space. Needs his contract ending and take the loss. Has shown no sign of improvement what so ever and can’t even cut it at championship level. The constant falling over under any contact is farcical. Something you would expect from a foreign import getting used to the league and how the refs work here but not someone who has been here near on 5 years.

Luton put up a banner mocking the guy on their stand and he still wasn't even motivated to break a sweat. It comes to something when you look at the ineptitude of Gray and think to yourself, at least he probably cares a bit when he does something utterly rubbish. Success just has the worst attitude for a footballer I've ever seen, compounded by not a huge amount of talent either.

I don't see what he offers us when he comes on? He just makes us weaker, no matter who he replaces. He's had chance after chance after chance and just doesn't take it. Fair enough if he's trying and it's not coming off, you might have some sympathy, but he just comes in and coasts, and lets down the team and the club with every single performance.

And didn't we transfer out something like £13m for this guy? More asset stripping by the Pozzo's Ozarks Laundromat.

Nathaniel Chalobah showed a lot of promise as a youngster, and when he joined us (permanently), he had a handful of good performances, and suffered a bad injury. When he returned he was mostly awful, but is now starting to show signs of rediscovering his potential.

Success showed a lot of promise as a youngster, has had a handful of good performances since joining us, and suffered a bad injury. Since returning he's looking mostly awful.

I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's returning from a long term injury and still getting back to speed, but it's looking more and more like an attitude problem, like with Penaranda.

We let him down by not loaning him out when fit and not needed, but as Moog says, he's had plenty of opportunities that he's simply not taken.

I know that £13m to a fellow Pozzo club isn't quite the same as paying £13m to another club, but Jesus he's got to be even more disappointing than Gray. Even at the time, the Gray fee raised eyebrows as even at his best he was never the most talented, but Success (and Penaranda for that matter) absolutely was, he's gone backwards massively in the past 5 years
