To be fair, that's the point of the show - especially in the early episodes. It definitely becomes more clear as time goes on and currently is one of the best things that they've ever done in the MCU. Just waiting on whether they stick the landing in the season finale this week.

It really helps to have watched the movies and have a full understanding of what happened with these characters in Avengers Infinity War and Endgame.

Heh maybe. But knowing one of the main characters died in those movies helps with the mystery.

@onion8837 @Klein Lust . The Story of Welsh Art. Fascinating series of three programmes devoted to art by Welsh people or inspired by Wales. One knows about Jasper Johns and Frank Lloyd-Wright of Welsh heritage but this really opened my eyes. If one was to mention the names Richard Wilson and Tom Jones one would not be thinking of painters.

I was hugely impressed by the paintings and the way as discussed in episode two how influential and ahead of their time they were. Also some other magnificent art from Henry Waite. I find it extraordinary that this was in storage at Nottingham City Museum rather than on display given the use of light and shadow and impressionistic tones. So much so I went out and bought a book on the topic. By saying I went out for me that means online at present.

Ha! Mrs Keighley and I had "got" Richard Wilson but completely missed Thomas Jones!! We thought the latter was excellent and had never heard of him.

A cracking series, of the sort which would surely not exist if the BBC were to be commercialised.

When he showed that city scape of Naples I was thinking in it's form and style it was an early 20th century work or something akin to realist painters of this period. Some like Hammershoi with indoor works that are simple but arresting with no narrative to them at all. A pity he stopped when he inherited his estate at Pencerrig. This is the book I have bought and which you can find cheaper for another twenty pounds or so:

Quite enjoyed The One on Netflix. It’s a bit like black mirror crossed with a detective show. To be honest in that respect it could’ve been a lot better (it’s like a lite version of BM) but I still enjoyed it. The lead actress is super hot, I hadn’t seen her in anything before so a quick google confined she’s Jessie Wares (the singer) sister.

Your Honour is pretty decent, halfway in.

Snowfall is still the best thing I've ever seen though.

I liked and disliked Your Honour. I found myself picking holes in the story.

Snowfall is on the list after I've finished The One.

Just seen the first episode of this:

    https://www.metacritic.com/tv/q-into-the-storm/season-1

Which I go only describe as completely batshit that literally flies all over the place. Most worrying I've seen in it was in tracking down 8chans admin, their online college yearbook thing photograph was replaced with what looked like someone's (@hornmeister? @Chumlax?) avatar - COINCIDENCE I THINK NOT. I am going to watch this, so I'll check it out and see whether it's me - my avatar is shamelessly stolen from some kind of American collegiate lacrosse outfit, sooo... ;)

Someone else here used to have the logo of the Wofford College basketball team as their avatar, for clever and/or obvious reasons, but I can't for the life of me recall who.

I've never forgiven you for dying so you could get out of coming to the 'Wood to discuss MI16 and MI9's WW2 work at the film studios (producing the real money hidden in monopoly money etc) and the impact it had on your time as a prisoner in Colditz.

Three parted documentary which sheds a lot of light on what hitherto has been an almost taboo subject within the sport. Praise must go to the victims for speaking out and it is hard to watch at times. Justice was served at the end but for some too late. Hopefully the authorities and clubs will now make sure no other children have to go through this again. Available to watch on iPlayer if you have not had the time as yet.

I watched all three parts of this in one go. It’s very hard at times. You realise you have no idea what these people went through and how hard it was to come forward. The most agonising part for me was the contributor towards the end who admitted, despite everything, that he he still felt guilt that he had ‘let down’ his abuser by exposing him.
