You mean Athene didn't really turn Arachne into a spider for saying she was better at weaving than Parthenos?
It's not too bad, are we sure It's from the club originally or did they re-tiktok it or whatever It's called? This sort of stuff is for the younger generation and for the overseas/far East Market, certainly not for me that's for sure. It's a marketing exercise, get the club in front of different and new audiences, to sell to.
It's original content. I work in marketing at a football club, so I know what it's for, but there are ways of doing it without being disrespectful. Players take note of stuff like this, I know that for a fact. I can get into the technicalities of why I think it's poor marketing too if you'd like
No, don't concern yourself, certainly the standard needs to be improved and I'm not sure but Watford tiktok is a relatively new expansion of their social media I think? More and more appear on Twitter feeds it seems.
No! Do not tell me this. I've been telling all my children for years, every time we see a spider on court, this story. I'm not having a good afternoon AT ALL.
To continue the Hellenic theme,I'm afraid Pandora's Jar has been open far too long for that not to be the case!
I also seem to be the only person bothered that our players got into a bit of argy bargy in Cardiff following on from the Muff events. We're getting a reputation which won't do us any good.
Even at our best this season, we're definitely worse than our best last season, but on top of that, it's been a very chaotic season not knowing who'd be playing for us and with key players not being able to play until halfway through the season. Norwich still have the core of the team that took them up two seasons ago, and any players that they lost last season they've replaced well
Eh, last minute winner there's bound to be emotions running. I'd be more concerned at the Bournemouth one, we fell into their trap, but by the sounds of it, the squad are using that as a positive
That's better than being better than our worse last season and and a lot better than our worse this season. So it could be worse.
classless , I though Cardiff were alright to be fair and if somebody did that to us I would be pissed right off and can see it starting to create the kind of dislike that many of us have for muff. I will be honest I think our reaction at the end of the game and in the tunnel was a bit over the top as well , but we scored with virtually the last kick of the game and the players were psyched up so I understand it the classy option would for our Twitter account to have thanked the Cardiff team for a great game and wished them luck in getting to the play offs
I was on a bus to my home in the East End some years ago. A little girl had a pencil case with her and was playing with it. The bus hit a bump in the road and the girl dropped her pencil case causing pencils to go all over the floor. The girl's mother then said, "Now look what you've done, Pandora!"
If she remembers Arachne she might be one of the Graeae. Or possibly the Three Degrees? I think Alex Ferguson was in that group.
Totally agree that it's petty, immature, and embarrassing. However that seems to be standard fare when it comes to football club's tiktok accounts, there doesn't seem to be the same etiquette that is applied to official twitter and Facebook posts. All it'll take is a club/manager/player to publicly come out as offended by a post and they'll likely be reigned in to the same standards.
Tiktok as a platform skews very, very young in terms of userbase, so perhaps that's not too surprising.
I see. I thought he may have accidentally hacked his own leg off whilst cutting his toenails with a scythe!
Oracles never give an answer they just present possibilities that people,or more likely the politicians can interpret. I think that this is still open to debate,in true Greek tradition!
A big day yes, but I have to disagree as I think it was much more recent than that, it was our brilliant victory at Naarich that done it IMO.
