Wednesday isn't it? Least Pedro is just one game and they didn't get any of our other players sent off. Hopefully Bournemouth show as much fight when they play Brenford/Swansea.
That he's left one crap team for another? He probably knows Lerma is a ***** anyway. They would have been in competition with each other.
Perica is also complete rubbish isn’t he. Pedro is great, but he’s literally our only viable striking option
Shame to lose Pedro for a game but I was actually quite heartened to see all the players getting stuck in at the end there, shows they care and are an actually team interested in protecting their team mates.
The referee was an utterly incompetent *******. Numerous challenges from the scum went unpunished such as a couple of late lunges on Hughes and Pedro after the ball had gone. Utter turd of a referee. And that racist ***** Woodgate on the touchline shouting foul him foul him when Sarr was on the break. Bring him down. What a POS. I pray they go bankrupt when they are still stuck in this division again. Bankrolled by dubious money. Any of you Muff *****s reading this go fack yourselves. Hard. I hate them more than Luton and that is saying something. Even Luton would not resort to tactics like these.
A sickening feeling, but not as bad as some defeats. Not a good display, but not awful. Although Cathcart and Bachman will not be pleased with the goal. They stifled us in attack to be fair. As for Bournemouth, they have appeared to have a policy and instinct to cheat on the pitch for some time now. Not sure if is it explicitly promoted, but it is certainly not discouraged. Lerna had one of those days his family, if they have any decency, will be utterly ashamed of. Should be retrospective sanctions against that type of behaviour. Pedro’s first yellow was incorrect, 2nd he slips, but have only seen in once and not sure if he kicked out. He misses a game and might give him a break. I was impressed with the sense of fight in some of our players. Gosling certainly knows Lerna’s form and was livid with his antics. I am no where near as disgusted as I have been with defeats in the past. Let’s move on with purpose and focus that energy and fight.
That is the nightmare scenario, so probably. Really want teams below them to knock them out of the playoff positions.
Fell into the muff trap and tempers boiled over, Pedro naive to lash out especially on that cheating **** lerma. Typical muff performance which got worse once they scored. Bachman was my motm up to the goal. 2 nd time this week beat at near post but in his defence I think he was expecting better contact with the shot which was slightly scuffed, plus everyone switched off for a costly moment. Not the end of the world with suspensions on paper gives us time to freshen things up against so called easier opposition. As for result let’s see a decent reaction Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I notice Bournemouth have stopped taking the knee before kick off. Anything to do with their newly-appointed head coach and his three arrests for racially-motivated assault I wonder? Just a lovely club in general really
Need to be a bit smarter. We’ve been neck and neck with Bournemouth for 5 years now and still fall for the diving, play acting and everything else. Couple today with the two red cards they avoided at our place and it’s frustrating but it’s up to us to wise up.
Hard to fathom much at present. The ref completely lost his marbles at the end there and JP seeing red was ludicrous. No wonder people lose faith in football with antics like that. We clearly lost our way after the Lerma intensive care moment and it paid dividends for them. No reason for them to stop it until they are sanctioned. In my heart I can't see an automatic spot now,too little room. Been a bad twenty four hours. My brother now has lung lesions that look inoperable and we await a prognosis. I will not wish illness on others but `I understand the sentiment from those who do. Very hard to stomach.
On a serious note, we were poor today. We look knackered. I think it's fairly obvious now that our starting 11 is probably quite comfortably top 2, but beyond that we're struggling. Pearson was the best player on the pitch, why didn't we look at signing him? Bournemouth away is probably in the top 3 hardest games in this league, so losing narrowly isn't the end of the world as long as we beat Wycombe.
And as Lerma walked away as JP was being sent off, he clearly pushed Cleverley near the throat. Clevs should’ve gone down rolling around holding his throat cos Lerma did not even pick up a booking at any time. I think the FK just before their goal was given to them on the advice of the assistant ref, as he thought Nate had made a back for Lerma, as the ref definitely gave it our way initially.
Bet Woodgate enjoyed that brawl at the end, nice reminder of the time him and Bowyer racially assaulted that Asian student in Leeds
Play Perica and Gray against Wycombe. Get some minutes into Perica. Lacked anticipation for Sarrs cross and failed to really wrap his foot around it. Gray to play off him. Zinckernagel for Sema. Give him a rest. Wycombe will not be easy either. We have to use the anger that I am sure is in the dressing room in a positive way. And if we encounter these *****s again smash the absolute crap out of them.
I'm not too down with that. I disagree with what others have said, I think we were really up for it, and our first 20 minutes we were as good as we've been this season. But Muff players falling over screaming like they'd been shot at every challenge has a habit of stifling play when there is a weak referee. Today explains why Muff are the club I dislike more than any other and would be my "rivals" every time, far more than Luton. They are just horrible. They were cheating from the off and the referee fell for it continuously. We had a poor game, but it had it happen. We have a good chance to get the show back on the road on Wednesday, and we will. I think we may be punished by the authorities with the melee at the end. But if anyone suspected that our players don't care, surely that last 5 minutes would have convinced them otherwise. Such was the team spirit displayed I actually think that it may even be a bit of a spark that re-ignites our run to the automatic promotion places. Those above us will drop points, I have no doubt, and we will catch them up. I thought both Pedro's yellows were dubious, and I think he was actually falling over for his second. But I hope Perica gets his chance on Wednesday night.
Must be boring to watch them every game - imagine never seeing a passage of play that doesn't involve a free kick
I'm sorry to hear that. It's easy to forget that football is really insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully the prognosis turns out more positive that first thought!
We fell right into the trap those cheating ***** laid. Hopefully we've learned from it. Job 1 this week for Xisco is to help the younglings like Sarr and Pedro channel this anger, not be consumed by it.
One funny thing. The Bournemouth fans don't even try and defend their team they just respond with things like 'Go and cry' so they clearly know they're a disgrace.
