Where do you start dissecting that one? Pedro just slipped. We should have had that scuffle in the 5th minute, I'm sick of getting done by bournemouths gamesmanship. Why the **** dont we roll about and con the ref like they do against them. Fire with fire. Wilshire fits right into that bunch of poisonous dwarves. So glad I'm not a Bournemouth fan having to justify enjoy watching them. With a bit of luck, it puts some fire in our bellies and kicks us on for the rest of the season.
Fairly even game as most ours are. We were sloppy and lacked ruthlessness in the final third though with Cleverley and Sarr wasting some good opportunities. JP was particularly sloppy today, seemed to muck up everything he tried and his red card was just an extra moronic cherry on the cake. Chalobah getting that yellow was also completely idiotic. Muff didn't really do much themselves. Danjuma looked offside for their goal but Cathcart and Femenia both completely switched off. Bachmann also should have saved it - no idea why he started moving across his goal before the shot had even been taken. This was always going to be one of the few potential banana skins remaining this season and we trod right on it.
One team in a great run of form, one team that can’t buy a win. Was inevitable that both those runs would end today. I was indifferent to Bournemouth before but they are very easy to dislike. Poor officiating performance all round too, even decisions given in our favour, I saw Sarr blatantly offside twice directly in front of the lino. Genuinely don’t think there’s any point over analysing the game today, just one of those days. Do need to study the goal though, far too easy and that second CB position is really a problem. Hope we respond in a big way against Wycombe now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Who says there is no rivalry between us eh? Scuffle at the end was uncalled for and now we lose our best striker for three massive games now. I'm fecked off with Muff's play acting over and over again. JP's getting sent off was brainless. and I am glad they finally got a red card for their part in it. As for the game itself, that was really poor from our point of view. We never expressed ourselves on the game and we sat back too much second half. Five yellow cards for our players. what, two or three for theirs? Im really annoyed with the performance over the result. We looked toothless going forward today and Sarr was running down blind alleys. Some for their "gamesmanship" was disgusting, and showed what a rotten little cheating side they are. I hope they get battered next game. For us, that was not a freak result, it was our own undoing - a route one goal that we should of coped better with. A draw would of been fair, and you could tell that tensions were running high at the end. Whether that was passion or anger on our part its hard to tell. That could well be our Automatic promotion hopes dead for good now. If Brentford and Swansea both win today - it's gone. I am more worried about where we go from here though. Our run is over, we didn't play well, and who is to say the fact we have lost Pedro means we resort back to Gray and 4 4 2 midweek? It's such a kick in the teeth as I really thought we would get something, even a point. As it stands. the cheating ******s have done us again. I really don't know how Xisco sorts this out after today, because right now, we might revert back to type and all our good work will be undone.
Genuine question. Who would we rather play v Wycombe? Andre 'the trampoline' Gray or an unfit Troy 'The Fridge' Deeney?
At first he seemed to slip but then he appeared to purposefully stick his leg up and in to Lerma once he was falling. It was completely unnecessary and moronic. His first yellow was also completely unnecessary as well. He was making wrong decisions all over the place today.
Honestly I don't even care that much about the result right now. Just glad we don't have to play that pathetic club again this season. Embarrassing stuff.
I’m not so sure it’s rivalry, we’re just a bit mentally suspect and easy to rile, which it won’t take them long to pick up on. Most of the other championship teams are probably far more street smart and won’t get sucked in like that, we just can’t cope with it and it works against us when any team does it.
Well you need strong officials against those cheating scumb@gs, and once again at their place, we have a weak as p1ss ref. The amount of screaming going on each time one of theirs was tackled was truly embarrassing. Is it that easy to con and bully a ref in the championship. Yes, it obviously is.
It was. Just seen the replay. It was a second yellow for stumbling into Lerma. Utter joke from the ref, who at best could only have seen it out the corner of his eye.
It was a second yellow which is usually 1 game. But I don't think you can appeal it. I wonder how long in the game Lerma was lying around on the floor? And wtf is Gosling thinking right now?!
I don't usually post on here but all I can say is this: however disappointed we may be at this result, at least we don't have to watch that awful Bournemouth team every week. They realised after a while that we would play them off the park unless they did something, and they certainly did something. From the shouting 'ref!' every couple of minutes to the rolling around like they had been shot, to the nippy comments in the ear of our players.... If they can genuinely look themselves in the mirror after behaving like that every week then fair enough, but I'd rather watch a team that actually tries to play the game, as we do. I was proud of my club today - we might have lost the football match, but at least we don't have to watch that rancid, joyless style (?) every week.
Don't think that's it - Muff aren't quite as "masterful" at it any more either, though clearly still try. Don't forget that in their last promotion season they were buying penalties and cards from absolutely everyone.
