Not sure if serious, roaring with laughter at teams when they are in a sticky spot is one of the best things about football... And it's even better when they are a close rival like these whoppers.

 

If the roles were reversed Bournemouth fans would be ******* themselves laughing.

I hope they suffer as much as possible so we don't have to go up against them in the play-offs.

It's obviously not a derby game, like Luton (or Derby), but I think it's a fair to say a decent rivalry has blossomed over the past 6 years. Speaking to Bournemouth fans when we play them away, and they mostly feel the same

Trust me when I tell you that more people than just me find your ‘Confessions of a Window Cleaner/Carry-On’ nature a bit vile. As I have said on another thread - people contributing lots or little to this forum is no indication on their social life or life in general. Some people want an escape from the outside world right now - others are working from home and have the forum open a few times a day etc to break up their day. And I’m sure there are many others who use it in many many different ways.

If someone posts 100 times in a day, or 1 time in 100 days - it’s none of your business and the conditions of their life that allow them to do that are none of your business either. I have a wife, I have a child, I have a job and I have many other wonderful things in my life. And I also happen to enjoy contributing to the forum as much as anyone does.

My post above was kept on topic when replying to your original point - it’s you once again who has steered it elsewhere. Yet it’s you who complains about ‘unprovoked personal abuse’. I thought by replying to you politely and on topic, we could get away from all this nonsense but it’s clear you don’t want to - so don’t reply to me and I won’t reply to you, simple.

It is. But Cardiff too. I can definitely see Cardiff carry on their good run there. I believe they would swap positions too.

 

Muff will not like Mick's direct style, I fancy they could win by 2 or 3 easily.

I've left them out solely on not knowing what PNE team will turn up. But agreed on the form they're in it's very tempting.

I mostly agree, it is all a bit pathetic. However, because Muff are, in my view, quite similar to us in many ways, if I would was to pick a "rival" club, then it would be Muff and maybe even QPR before Luton, who havn't been on the same footballing planet as us for a generation.

 

I think people were just laughing at the ‘Bournemouth way’ comment which is fair enough. For a club who has spent the majority of their history in the lower leagues it’s very difficult to have a ‘way’ of playing. By definition if you’re in the lower leagues you’ve got **** players and will most likely play **** football, if not you won’t be in the lower leagues for long. EH elevated them above their natural level for a very brief period in their overall history, but it’s likely that will have been a temporary situation where they played better than average football compared to the other 100+ years.

We’re a bigger more successful club, but if any of us on here suggested there is a Watford way of playing they’d rightly get ripped to shreds by the rest of us, in fact if you flip it on its head, we don’t like being labelled a long ball team just because that’s what we were known for for a very brief period in our overall history.

 

Apologies if this has been posted but Rico Henry is out for a minimum of two months for Brentford.

Big blow. I don't think they have any other left backs as they loaned out Dominic Thompson to Swindon in January. If Toney is only out for three or four games then Henry's injury is definitely more significant - those two are probably their two best players (along with Dasilva).

 

Almost as big of a blow as hiring Jonathan Woodgate as manager...
