    Hi Everyone.

Hope this isn't out of place here, just wanted to say hello and let you know about a podcast that myself and two friends have started. It's football based and all very light hearted.

Anyway, the reason for me posting in here was that this week, we had Paul Devlin on the podcast and given his time at the club, we thought you might want to give it a go.

If any of you would like to check it out (and I would encourage it!) i've put the link at the bottom of this post.

Please do give it a go and if you like it, please like and subscribe.

We're trying to get more and more guests to come on too, so if there is anybody you've like to see, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Feel free to give me some feedback too, but please be nice :)

I do wonder if one day the world may implode under the weight of football podcasts.

Can you get Andre' Gray on, ask him why he has the technical skills of a drunk Sunday league player?

    Nice podcast btw.

I need to know how old you are. If you’re 18/19/20/21 or 25 (unless louorns, because he’s a bedwetter now), then you know nothing, are a complete throbber and fist with a **** haircut.

Always liked Paul Devlin. Decent player and was a bit gutted he left before the end of the 05/06 season.

Apparently his transfer fee and wages were paid for by an anonymous Watford fan*, as it was when we had absolutely no money (much like now).

Loved watching Paul Devlin. On his debut he ran down the wing, two defenders tried to sandwich him, and he nonchalantly flicked the ball up between them and hurdled through.

This being at a time when we didn't have players that could take defenders on, was very refreshing.

Bit of a luxury winger, inconsistent and didn't actually create very much but gave us something to get excited about.

One of my mate's does a football podcast with some lads he plays football with. He seemed upset when I said I didn't want to listen to some blokes I don't know giving their views on football.

Line them up and that's the four stages of male pattern baldness. How fascinating.

In the same order they are more like the four stages of life following the horns....lager...aga....saga.....gaga (clarification for younger viewers: the last one is not the “Lady”popular music artist)

Funnily enough, we thought the same after doing about 5 episodes with just us 3. We thought ‘who cares?’.

That’s why we’ve worked to start getting guests on :)

Yup, far too many of these. The only football podcast I’ve enjoyed is undr the cosh, mainly because they are talking to former players rather than punters giving opinions on football.

I've spent most of the past 20 years wondering what Paul Devlin has got to say. Dynamite stuff I imagine. Absolute gold dust.

    Can't wait.

Devlin was great, anyone else remember when he destroyed Lee Cook on his return to Vicarage Road with QPR?

I also used to work with someone who played non league (some midlands team, forget which). They had a deal with Devlin to play in their FA Cup games, I believe he was semi retired at this point and probably close to 40. Apparently he was just ludicrously good at that level even as an old man. I don’t think the cup run went far though.

Anyone listened to Quickly Kevin? Best pod I have heard so far, based on 80s football and a really good listen

Right, I've actually just watched this (there's lockdown in action for you) and I have to say it's a massive disappointment. I always liked Devlin but he's not actually ******* Scottish! Or, if he is that is the worst Scottish accent I have ever heard. Obviously never met the bloke but he always had Glaswegian accent in my head, devious *******.

Good effort Josh but maybe the real Scottish Paul Devlin next time please.
