Cleverley ran himself into the ground. Sierralta was good until his silly yellow.

We had a free kick in the 93rd minute and were going to launch it into the box. Every defender and attacker ran into the box when the cross came in apart from Deeney who just stood there. And he carried on standing there as the keeper bowled the ball over his head and they counter attacked. Much like the rest of the game, he was just walking.

Yet again we have been out passed, out played and out thought by a team with far inferior players. Even when we win, we never look like we have a proper game plan or identity. We kind of scrape through to a win.

 

2nd to everything. Lost most 50/50 and 2nd balls cleverly and chalobah were covering for our fb’s most the game. Navarro looked lost out of position and when on the ball wasted it time after time.
King ken only player to look threatening everyone else were off the pace if that was a better team than qpr it could of been embarrassing
If this squad was to go up by some miracle it would get destroyed needs a massive overhaul even to contend in this league.
I’ve an idea let’s go and bolster the u23 squad with kids who either never made it at a top academy or have superstar parents

Whilst I agree with your summary, and yes, he does take some stick tonight, it's down to the idiots running our football club and has been for about 2 years now!

 

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

What precisely is anyone at the club expecting to happen with Deeney and Gray playing as our main strikers?

He can’t be picking this team, surely? I’ve never ever brought into those sorts of suggestions but I’m seriously entertaining it right now. That selection, and the subs, are so full of square pegs in round holes in a basic formation that it almost defies belief anyone with any footballing nous would put their name to it.

 

We deserve all the negative press we get. A truely awful run club. Personally I think the last 5 years have been complete luck! The clowns at the top haven't a clue how to run a football club.

We are now right back where we were when they first took over. No money and huge amounts of debt debt. Major difference is we now have a load of awful players on vast wages and long contracts.

A scatter gun transfer policy has seen millions upon millions of wasted money. Not to mention 5 year contracts being handed out to finished players. Add to that an embarrassing list of awful managerial appointments that last less than a year.

In the main below average football on show for the duration. We scraped our way to an FA Cup final with an awful squad playing turgid football. We then fluffed a chance of a decent league finish.

They then ignored all of the sqauds frailties and went again and acted surprised when we went down. What a surprise. They even had the audacity to say they would give promotion a good go and then signed a 37 year old and paid him 30k a week to train with the under 23s.

Leaked stories of player power & money being borrowed against future successes. Watford have become EVERYTHING I detest in a football club.

I'm sure some rose tinted members will say "What about the 4 sided temporary stadium we now have" bla bla bla. I'll counter that with zero academy and no decent youth prospects.

All the last 5 years has done is postpone the position we were in when they took over.

Rest assured, when they finally sell up we will be in a far worse state than when they took over.

 

So lets compromise the entire team because we don't have a 9

Disappointing performance overall. We shouldn't play both Chalobah and Hughes in a 4-4-2 as it means we got no width on the left. Sema did well when he came on and ought to be in the running for a start at the weekend. Unusual lapses at the back in a home game which was unusual for us. Pedro and Deeney didn't look like scoring in open play, the goalscoring problems remain. Gray coming on as sub made no difference. On to the next one. Still in a play off place so not the end of the world.

 

I give up. I think I'll start supporting a non-league team instead, in the hope of seeing some better football. Not sure who. Open to suggestions.

It's unbelievable really. I've not a clue what his thought process is for that. I can only assume there isn't one.

 

Deserved everything we got we made a **** Queens Park Rangers team look good. The line up was a joke Zinkerangel is probably wondering why he even come here he will be another promising player that we will ruin. No excuse for Hughes playing on the left wing when Joao Pedro, Zinkeragel and Sema were available. Wrong substitutions also should have brought Cleverley off and put Hughes in the centre, shouldn't have taken JP off for Gray either. Navarro is **** he cant defend or attack I pray that Kiko is back for Saturday and Massina not Ngakias fault though he is a young boy and he is not a left back, this is the clubs fault.
We knew we were not getting the winner when Gray come on and was chasing his own shadow. Not getting g top 2 will be lucky to get in the play offs if Gino can seriously sit the Vic and watch that tonight and think we have enough then he has gone completely ******* bonkers.

 

Nothing is right about the club at the moment. It’s just a crazy situation run by an absolute clown of an owner. I’ve not see one single sign of intent from management to get us promoted this season. The only reason the players from last year are here now is because they are way too expensive for the crap that they are. Sarr is probably one of the most overrated and expensive transfers in history and everyone knows it. We’ve sold anyone worth selling and brought in **** all.
Watch it all unravel from here. Automatic promotion is all but over and if we stay in the playoffs by a miracle it will be a hammering like against Hull when we last crashed out of the PL last time. **** Gino, **** Duxbury, **** Xisco, etc etc

Although the owners have given him NOTHING to compete with, he's had to name 4 or 5 academy players on the bench tonight.

What I don't understand is why persist with 4-4-2 when we don't have the right players to play that system!? It's crying out for 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.
