No, not that one....his son. From Spurs U23's. Was told we were in for him today - I then checked this when I asked the person I know about Gosling (hence why I was/am so sure that was true when people hoped it wasn't!) and again, it was confirmed, Has never played a senior game and plays in positions we are well stocked in so have to imagine it's one for the U23's?!
Don’t be daft, Gino knows that incredibly thick sided fan base will clap their way into a coma signing a big name like that. Son of the man who took Spurs all the way to the CL final, he must be good. No he isn’t, he’s actually crap, would be a terrible signing. Therefore it’s happening.
It is, I would be happy with that. He definitely has an eye for goal. Don’t get me wrong, I’m pissed at the board for all this fannying around. However if Gino signs Gosling, Jephcott and Siliki then he would have done ok.
Siliki dead in the water. Not literally. But it’s not happening. Was told earlier this evening it’s Gosling, Pochettino (latter less advanced and both yet to have medicals), bid being considered for Jephcott and bid expected to be accepted for an unnamed player (no idea who but it’s someone not yet suggested is all I was told) . Siliki defo not happening though unless something dramatic happens - they simply don’t really want to negotiate and the price suggested by his agent to get them to the table is already beyond what we can reasonably afford. That’s literally all I was told in good faith - this all came from a question I asked when I said goodbye to someone I know who would know such detail, in a text as I’m leaving the country (finally I hear you cry!) next week!
Yeah I’m not surprised, was clearly a smokescreen for the board to use as per normal. This is the poor excuse for Gosling. If Gino wants the fans back on his side, he needs to make a statement signing that backs up and show intent on his promises to the fans. If we only sign Zinckernagel and Gosling this window, he will be hearing loud cries of POZZO OUT!!
Jephcott would be exciting, and surely better than what we have, but the natural thoughta would be to compare him to Watters and think whether that run of form is sustainable. Is that unknown player Longstaff by any chance? Good luck for the move!

Didn't bother looking at this thread until now as I'd assumed it was some gubbins about his dad. Couldn't his pa have been a bit more imaginative with his choice of name?
You really are a bizarre individual with a strange obsession with me. 42 posts in your whole time here and an unhealthy amount about me. Broaden your horizons and stop believing being an internet troll at 52yrs old is cool.
He probably thinks the internet doesn’t exist in America yet All the best Burns. I’m sure NY will be great.
With all the criticism towards the Pozzo's, going under the radar is some good work with the youngsters we're hoovering up. Another decent young prospect. Who knows, his dad might like to pop down and coach him and his mates too?
The son of a decent manager? Is he free? They couldn't help themselves with a mild celebrity name. I'm surprised they didn't sign that bloke from The Only Way Is Chelsea or whatever.
There's definitely another shift in the way they're bringing in players to the U23s. Hopefully one or two will pay off either financially or by getting minutes in the 1st XI because as it stands there isn't a single player in the academy set up who is trusted with taking the field in a league game. It's some feat by the owners that despite a revolving door policy over the last 12/18 months at academy level, no player has made any kind of impact whatsoever. But that's what happens when you have owners who are player traders. They did that already with Connor Smith. Not even a competition winner - he was runner-up! 5-yr deals then wasn't it, for him and Sean Murray?
His dad's a good manager. I don't expect to see his offspring in a first team shirt anytime soon. Good prospect for the future, or good loan and sell deal for Gino. I would like to however see him grow his potential with us then break into the first team like Dele Bashiu did.
Nowhere near breaking into the Tottenham first team. Has a lot of growing up to do. Decent technically apparently. Hope his dad can source us some players. Parrot who was being wildly hyped has been a big fat zero at Millwall. Although not exactly in a forward thinking side.
Wonder if his dad will give us a backup PSG player to ‘compliment the talents of his son’. Come on Poch sr. Surely you want your son to be at a PL team!?
The fact that Millwall's only real tactic is to hit long balls into the box or score from set-pieces Millwall is a bad move for him.
