Agree with the OP. Gray is clearly holding this team back, and Pedro deserves to start every week.

2nd May 1992, Bristol City had three players sent off including ex Horn Wayne Allison, Luther came on as sub for his last appearance and scored, amongst the goals that day was Nigel Gibbs, which tells you what a strange match it was!

other scorers were Bazeley, Drysdale, Gibbs and Putney!

One of my first ever games !

Andy Cole scored for Bristol City too.

Yes Andy Cole on loan from Arsenal, I bet they wished over the next 10 years they had kept him!

Yes - Ian Wright and Cole would have been quite a strike force .

Mind you they eventually got Bergkamp and Henry.

Better memory than mine! Darren Bazeley was one of my fave players - didn't he play RB, RM and ST throughout his time with us? Sure he scored a hat-trick and then claimed he preferred playing as a RB. As for the game above - I was 15 and went with a mate, their fans were a little Neanderthal that day and had to be held back by police with dogs as the action unfolded.

Scored a 94th minute equaliser against the scum so always been a favourite. In the Youtube video of that equaliser you can see me dancing around like a lunatic on the pitch!

Goals of this game from 47.37 - I loved that kit at the time!

    96-97 .

A player quite aptly called Shower scored for them !

Part of our 22 match unbeaten run - most of which were draws!

    BTW:

Where was Troy when you need him in this video !?

    Missed penalty by Ramage.

Wow just opened that Wiki page - 13 draws in 15 games at one point!

To the person who made this thread - I'm glad your question has actually been addressed by at least one person - was intereested to know myself.

Also sorry for being part of hijacking it.....

Looking at that amount of draws randomly made me think of a club record I'm pretty sure that was broken and probably still stands from the 90's (hardly our prime years!) which was most consecutive clean sheets in a row - I'm sure it was Kevin Miller in goal. Just looked him up and his wiki states he got POTY for 2 out of 3 seasons. Not often a player we mention when looking back and I didn't see loads of him myself but I'm guessing some of you most have good memories of him.
