I reckon he'll be gone in under 8.

Considering Sarr and Masina ignored his handshake as they stormed off at full time, who knows.

He’s an unqualified puppet for Pozzo. So he might last quite a while.

Who knows but what does it matter, would anyone else do any better with our midfield and forward line? If Gino thinks that our strikers can get us automatic promotion then he is completely deluded, without replacing Capoue and signing a forward that can score automatic promotion is completely unrealistic.

Still no sign of Murray then.

Sometimes the excitement of getting the chance to be the one to tee up Sweet Caroline gets the better of even the most talented players.

Maybe he just needs to find out what music they like and play better feel good music.
If that doesn't work maybe he could give them a massage or **** them off. We can't possibly have players unhappy or disliking the manager

Totally out of his depth. What on earth were the pozzos thinking? At least Ivic made sense, but this guy? Amazing stuff really.

Remember when our fans used to spout the nonsense that the pozzos always had the next manager lined up and ready to be signed whenever necessary? Well the pozzo myth has truly died now.

I'd rather have someone like that italian chap who looked like a corpse who managed Swansea for a while in the prem than this clown. Why don't the pozzos just stick to what they know?

I cannot believe there isn't an Italian journeyman that would come here for the pittance we pay.

We've got a manager who has not even got a full season of management under his belt. It is mindblowing.

I've pent countless hours defending the Pozzo system to randos on Reddit and the husband of my stepmother's sister who is a Spurs fan and a lovely guy but the archetypal big(-ish) club outsider perspective - POZZOS DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING, GONNA GO STRAIGHT BACK DOWN, ETC ETC.

Now, however, it's pretty impossible to defend, and I'm not sure you would find a right-thinking Watford supporter of sound mind who would even try. It's a real sea-change. I don't even read the Reddit threads when we sack a manager these days - just rinse and repeat.

The sooner the head coach is left alone and the squad is ripped up, the better.

Poor sod is on a hiding to nothing.
I might as well be in charge for all the authority and decision making the coach has with Gino and this group.

Well he was happy with the "passion"

Shame about the lack of quality?

"When we lose, sometimes we are disappointed. The team has personality, the team played with passion, the team had a good chance, the team were playing every time in the other penalty box.

We have good things and we need to continue, this is the most important. We know what is our mistakes, we know what is our job and we need growing up. I can say I'm happy with the guys because they gave their maximum and I'm sure we are growing up, day by day.

When we receive the second goal, we took our personality, we took the responsibility of this personality for 90 minutes. This is the most important way. What we need is to grow up. No one said it was easy, everyone knows in front we have a good team, but we continue.

I'm sure we are all angry, we want to continue and I like when I come inside of the dressing room and everyone is sad for for the situation. I'm happy because tomorrow we start another week. We'll work very hard, and we'll give the maximum for the next game."

    ******* gibberish.

You'd be astonished at the level of nonsense spoken by most sports coaches most of the time.
I shared 10 & U captaincy of the Herts girls team with a nincompoop from the eastern tip of the county.
On arrival at the venue,Queenswood he met me and went into some long piece about " the girls having their 'A' game ready and prepared to 'go the distance' for the good of Herts tennis."
Towards the end of this bilge a ball came sailing over from a nearby court and hit him on the top of the head!
All the children laughed and he wandered off to bemuse some other poor saps.

My god, its like a bad dream.

He'll leave this club in a straight jacket. Mark my words. I fear for his mental health. 6 months here will break him.

Best he just quietly ****s off now.

For gods sake he’s got a 50% win rate. With 24 matches to go that’s a likely 73 points. No way we will get relegated.

    No we ******* didn't.

That was probably the joint worst performance we've given this season, and that's really saying something, so to come out and talk about the 'passion' and 'personality' we showed is barely short of gaslighting.

And look how well the last one went.

    Urgh.

This season's Beppe. Stutter through to the end of the season and replace either over the summer or three or four games in.

Except there's no Almen Abdi to come back this time.

How do you keep a management job when you have strikers who couldn't hit a barn door, midfielders who have trouble passing forward and a keeper who's more interested in cycling?

  34. Jumbolina

Of course we won’t get relegated. That said he is an under qualified cheap Pozzo puppet. So it’s pretty likely he will get tinned. Or they will just keep him if they have completely given up on the head coach position weirdos that they are.

My last shred of faith in Gino is hoping that he hasn't forgotten everything. He binned Billy McKinlay off after he set our team of Championship superstars up to draw at home to a struggling Brighton side and then professed himself happy with the result.

Let's hope that Gino has read Xisco's jibber jabber after the game today and terminates him before the Man United game.
