There's a very visible difference in play already: when we put balls into the box, you'd see 3-4 players attacking the box instead of maybe 1. Munoz is going to need time to completely instill his methods, but on the basis of today we'll likely be scoring a lot more now. Side point, but Masina was quite excellent after coming on.
Good attacking football, very different from one of Vlad's 1-0s. Result always in doubt as we missed chances but the great thing is that we made those chances.
I can't quite believe the change there - we looked like a team of adults who have just been relegated from the Prem rather than pub players meeting for the first time - we basically controlled the match throughout, and could have scored more if Gray and Perica weren't both abysmal when it came to attempts on goal. My mum's going to be disappointed; the industrial pack of adult diapers she got me for xmas will go unused for at least a few days.
Wonderful! So pleased for Xisco and can see green shoots emerging from the soil that was scorched by Vlad the Soul Destroyer.
Looked good going forward but without compromising anything at the back (minus a few hairy moments where we almost gave away pens), I don't know whether we're going to get promoted, but at least it looks like we're gonna have fun, Sarr didn't look **** scared to go at his man this time!
Great result and a little unexpected after such a turbulent week for the club. For 70 mins that starting XI made Norwich look average
Encouraging signs. I'm in no doubt we would have got a draw, at best, out of that game under Ivic after going one up.
Good start. Gives us some hope. Need the players to fully buy into this guy's methods from now until the end of the season!
Really good performance overall. Defended well and Norwich were surprisingly flat going forward. Capoue got a yellow and was lucky to stay on, but apart from that and Gray's utterly woeful finishing, not many negatives. Xisco had them playing for once and when we attack we do look threatening. Our strikers are awful though, and I think if Gray had a footballing head and calmness, we win that 3-0. Lots of smiles at the end, good to seem. One Santa doesn't make a winter though, and being consistently good now is they key. We are still in the hunt at this point, but our away form will be interesting. Nice to be positive again too.
Ivic just massively over complicated football didn’t he? Complete overkill in this league with the players we’ve got First game I’ve actually felt something at the end, it was horrible but nice to actually care. Hopefully this isn’t just an Ole type bounce with the players proving a point, keep that up for the rest of the season and we’ll be there or there abouts.
