I saw a few clips of this on Twitter yesterday, some of them really need to go to anger management. You can see why Bellerin and others have pointed out that those fans and AFTV is an embarrassment.

Every club has these types of fans. But the vast majority of fan-run podcasts, tv shows, youtube channels etc. won't go near guys like this. Most that I've seen/heard tend to opt for people who can at least string an argument or point-of-view together without getting red-faced and angry. I saw a thing elsewhere online where someone showed just how many more views AFTV gets on youtube when Arsenal lose (no surprise) vs when they win. "Robbie" has clearly set up his channel for this but pretends that he's shocked when he's accused of profiting off Arsenal's failures.

 

Be careful what you wish for. I've been told that moog's mummy's finally bought him a smart phone...

I think the worst thing about AFTV wasn't their own channel but it was all the laughable copycats they spawned.

AFTV is essentially a comedy show with specific comedy characters. I met 'Troopz' once and he was absolutely nothing like his character on AFTV.

The copycats, including the Watford version which is run by some weird poshy youth, gets less views than a post on this forum yet is inexplicably promoted by the club, believe all those characters are real and as such search desperately for it.

Reality is, as Robbie Lyle worked out very early on, that football fans are normally boring as ****.

He has actually scored a couple hasn't he but then again even a stopped clock is correct twice a day!

 

His save was one which I would expect most good PL goalkeepers to make.

I've not quite got the hype with Henderson yet - he seems a good shot-stopper, but very lacking in other aspects of his game. In particular he doesn't seem very good at dealing with crosses - he seems fairly small for a goalkeeper and in general seems very hesitant in coming off his line and not especially commanding of the penalty box. Utd's second goal was a case in point of something I've noticed too often from him already, he was rooted to his line despite the fact the corner landed only about 4 yards from the goal- line, a good keeper should be collecting such balls.

He’s a huge tool. Just wants to be able to make 5 subs if Liverpool are 4-0 up with 30 mins to go. Otherwise the starting XI will be run into the ground.

 

Yeah, they should say to Klopp we’ll let you have 5 subs against the top 4, as soon as you make 5 subs against one of them you can have them for the rest of the teams.

 

I see he has taken the Watford approach of naming 2 keepers on the bench as well now he can have 9 subs

A lot of the media and online narrative seems to suggest it's Arteta's fault for Arsenal's abysmal form. I've not watched them so I don't know, but it seems odd to me how he's getting blamed entirely and not the players. The squad doesn't seem that good and is sort of mid table at best..

I don’t think winning the FA cup and beating Chelsea and City in the process has helped. They looked pretty good back then, so the regression now doesn’t help Arteta, but the players have shown they are capable of more.

 

I'm so please Arteta, Bruce and Pep are having a hard time of it right now.

These three deliberately tried to push Watford out of the Premier League with their team selections. They tried to engineer it and this is what I find appalling.

Arteta rested 6 of his first team before playing Villa and lost 1-0. A few days later he went full strength stating he had a duty to the integrity of the Premier League when he played us in the final game. Hypocrite.

Pep did the exact same thing. Rested his best team and they were lucky to beat Bournemouth 2-1 at home. A week later he goes full strength and tonks us 4-0.

Bruce rested his first team at City and lost 5-0 in order to be able to go full strength to try and beat us. Luckily we still beat them 2-1.

I was praying for them all to have bad seasons this year, and it looks as though the big man may have been listening.

Arteta will get the sack soon, I'm sure. Bruce is getting pelters for losing to Brentford and Pep's City are well below their usual standards.
