I would like to extend on behalf of all the moderating team on the forum warm and sincere greetings for the festive season to you all and those closest to you. Enjoy yourselves no matter what happens on the pitch but do be mindful of what you are doing with regards to the current laws covering the pandemic. 2020 to be frank has been an awful year with many passing untimely into that good night so let us all hope that 2021 will be a damn sight better. Keats, ‘To Hope’. When by my solitary hearth I sit, When no fair dreams before my ‘mind’s eye’ flit, And the bare heath of life presents no bloom; Sweet Hope, ethereal balm upon me shed, And wave thy silver pinions o’er my head Please also spare a thought or more for those without shelter, children who will have no gifts to enjoy and all those working throughout the season in the emergency services and hospitals.
Thanks for this. I wonder how many other football message boards are quoting the romantic poets? I fully concur with your sentiments and it was interesting to read the full poem and article too.

We're having a full on Christmas day today as Mrs D will be in hospital over Christmas for treatment. It's been pretty authentic to be fair. Funny seeing the cat walk around in a collar and bow tie!
Best wishes to all. Difficult times for many at the moment - I hope everybody manages to find time to down tools, get some rest and enjoy a beer or two over the festive period.
