    GTFI!

As a COG I have to decorate my home with pictures of Audrey Fleurot.

Watched the S2 season finale of the Mandalorian last night.

Have to say, its everything the new movies should have been, but weren't. The show captures the essence of Star Wars in a way that JJ Abrams did not.

Excellent stuff and I am very much looking forward to S3.

Mr Inbetween, Aussie black comedy about a hit-man. Episode 9 of series 2 was particularly special.

    GoingDown "The Stability"

Yes it was wonderful. Although it felt like the end of a journey - and it'll interesting to see where they take the show without the obvious hook and if they do, whether it will be the same.

Bit disappointed that it didn't have a tribute to Jeremy Bulloch but the epilogue more than made up for it.

    Coincidence? I think not....

Rumour was that 'he' was supposed to be the subject of the next stand-alone film so rather than a 2'30" film we'll get at least one (8*45"=) 6' one.

Errrrr... you did watch it right to the end of the post-credit sequence?

    GoingDown "The Stability"

Haha, I did yes. I'd be worried if that isn't a spin off and it's just S3. Although I'm keen to see it.

Binged three seasons of Billions, not bad.

    Handmaids Tale now, bloody brilliant.

Næturvaktin (English: The Night Shift) and sequels Dagvaktin (The Day Shift), Fangavaktin (The Prison Shift).and feature film to book-end it, Bjarnfreðarson. Very black Icelandic comedy originally set in a petrol station. The first series (Night Shift) was shown on BBC Four in May 2011 as part of the channel's Wonders of Iceland series of programmes. All have been released on DVD in Iceland (with English subs). Worth tracking down.

Yes indeed. I reckon that's going to be a new spin-off. Good stuff.

    Loved seeing

Confirmed. Spinoff as opposed to S3. Just at the same time. Obviously the movie they were going to do as you described.

Late to the party as usual, like with Community and Always Sunny but 30 Rock.... How did I not watch this sooner?! Done nearly all seven series in the last month or so. Absolutely brilliant stuff.

Just seen a railway programme on Channel 5 about Sicily.

    "Most Scenic Railway Journeys".

I've always wanted to visit Sicily, especially with it's Greek connections and this beautiful programme narrated by Bill Nighy has reaffirmed that.

Siracusa, Catania,Etna and many other wonderful sights.

I shall reignite, excuse the pun,my plans for a Grand Tour.

    Astonishing.

Night Stalker on Netflix. He was one seriously sick individual. Excellently produced documentary.

"Engrenages" consistently good, convoluted drama series that contrasted the lives of those at peak and those at the peripheries of French society through the actions of a CID squad. Unfortunately, possibly due to WWC, the final series was by far the weakest becoming little more than a standard police procedural. Shame it went out with a whimper.

All of it's on iplayer and it's well worth it.

The Serpent is great and a true story which I’d never personally heard about. I found it a little slow to start but by episode 3/4 it’s excellent.

I got a free Apple TV trial. Saw people saying the morning show was rubbish and ted lasso was great... Watched them both and thought the complete opposite. Especially Ted Lasso, I thought it was awful - what am I missing?

Is there anywhere showing Curb apart from sky?

30 Rock and Curb are only available to stream on Sky and Now TV.

If in doubt get the Just Watch app, great for finding where to buy or stream stuff online.

Pop round with a few beers. Series link means I'm working through 97 back episodes of curb last time I looked and about similar of 30 rock. The 2 must take up about 1/3 of my skybox storage. Alex Baldwin in 30 rock is just about the funniest ever comedy character. Wife doesn't like Curb which is a shame and slows my viewing rate....

  28. Filbert

Alec Baldwin’s power struggle with Will Arnett’s character over the course of the series is a particular highlight.

How can a nation that produces 30 rock, Curb, Friends and Cheers, also come up with **** like Will & Grace and Fresh off the Boat ? One of life's unsolved mysteries. I guess we have the same dichotomy of Gavin & Stacey, Blackadder and Fawlty Towers vs Mrs Browns Boys & Michael ****ing McIntyre.

Have you watched 'Back'? Currently on C4.

First series was pretty good. I haven't started the second one yet.

Think Webb is a much better actor than Mitchell (who can only play Mitchell).

I haven’t yet, I’ll have to give it a go and see if I can get my head around Mark and Jeremy from Peep Show not being Mark and Jeremy from Peep Show!
