Watching socially distanced fans for Lokomotiv Moscow vs Atletico... I get why we can't but man I miss that matchday stadium feeling.
Even since new data protection laws were introduced in 2018 websites have got worse, even when viewed on my laptop in Chrome with an ad blocker. Doesn't matter whether the pop-ups are to do with cookies or GDPR instead of ads, they're all equally annoying.
Can we just start Mooney tomorrow? Probably better than Murray these days, but most importantly it keeps him out of the commentary box!
I get that it's an important stage before getting back to full normality, but how weird would it be to be in a stadium with restrictions? (On a tangent, I've been watching darts with restricted capacity, and that caused its own problems as a small amount of people shouting out is a lot more off-putting than thousands of people all singing about the Toure brothers together!)
That would be brilliant, a back 4, a midfield with some degree of creativity, and an actual striker who isn't crocked and/or an OAP? Sign me up! Sadly I think we'll see 45 minutes for both Hughes and Gray at best, and nothing Ivic has said has indicated that we'll be playing a back 4 any time soon
Just assumed we were still well up there after only Bristol City of the current main contenders won, but we're 9th now! Early days yet, and still very congested, but that was an unpleasant surprise!
[QUOTE="wfc4ever, post: 2925186, member: 133 https://twitter.com/WatfordFC/status/1323663981534302208 [/QUOTE] That looks good to me. Doubt we’ll see it though !
Like you say early days and they say don’t look at the table until Christmas, well we could be bottom half of the table pretty fast if we don’t pick up some points. Always congested but we don’t want to fall to far behind. Be a very good 3 points to grab against Stoke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As you say there's no point in looking at the table right now. We may not be that many points clear of the relegation trapdoor but it's nothing to worry about this early in the season.
For the first time this season I am glad fans are banned from the ground. Is there literally a worse way to spend your time than watching Stoke grind out a 0-1 win at Vicarage Road?
I've got 7-2 odds from Skybet on you switching off and walking out within 25 mins, which seems decent odds ?
I just beg that he changes formation or at the very least plays a recognised natural striker and Sarr out wider. Can't see it though and I suspect it'll be another 3-5-2 with predictable names playing.
Watford to win and both teams to score, 5-1. It's free money! You've discovered the magic money tree indeed.
We need a Ramage type, albeit one that is prepared to work hard, and be somewhat less controversial on his race views . He was the last player I had the name of on my top before I stopped with that sort of thing.
God, tonight's game feels like a chore rather than anything remotely enjoyable. Give the current global circumstances, it really is some feat for one of the few bits of escapism make your heart sink even more.
Only watched three of our games so far this season, Sheff Wed, Reading and Barnsley. Not scored in any of them. Probably won't watch tonight. Your welcome
