Your last point is made completely redundant by your first point.

    This.

You need a strong ref when you play them and there are simply none of them about. Expect Tim Robinson to get a very high rating from the assessor because he avoided any controversy. He was a spineless ****

Feckin desperado imagines himself to be some suave sophisticated twenty something with that coiffure. The casually open jacket. The man is a feckin poncey turdface.

Actually disagree. Once again we created the biggest chances. For all their possession and pressing we limited them to half chances until that end.

Ultimately, whatever anger we justifiably feel right now because the officials were very very poor today, we have only ourselves to blame for not winning that.

We had enough chances in that second half to put the game to bed.

1-0 up and then that much stoppage time, and you’re always at risk of something like that happening.

We’ve rolled the dice three times this season and got away with defending a 1-0 lead, but sadly not today.

Doesn’t excuse the ref’s performance though, or the antics of our opponents. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth that their behaviour was rewarded with a point that will probably feel like a win to them.

    Gutting.

We'll probably still be the two teams that go up automatically though, so may not matter come the end of the season, but would be very irritating if Muff finish 1 point ahead of us again in clinching the league title.

Completely agree. We were comfortable for pretty much the entire match. Can't afford such incompetence from officials at this level.

Yeah, scored a good goal and was a complete and utter donkey other than that. Poor touch, didn't win a single 50/50 the entire game and bar that one moment offered zero threat.

Can't take the goal away, fair play, nearly the match winner, but he was absolute turd other than that.

why the **** did Foster punch that header ? He had time to catch it. We still can't manage a game out - 7 mins was about right for injury time but we had so many chances to run the clock down and failed. Take a ******* booking for time wasting. But don't keep giving them the ******* ball

Of course it is. The referee grows a backbone, we win. Simple.

Just seen it again. Kabasele completely lost his head. Basically tackled Troost-Ekong who was trying to head it clear at the near post, then ran forward like a headless chicken rather than getting back in the middle and so left Lloyd Kelly completely unmarked. By the time Kaba woke up to the danger all he could do was throw himself desperately at Kelly.

Agree. An easy catch for Foster. Also a clear push by King on Cathcart that gave him the space for the header.

That is the thing, the fact that Bournemouth felt they had to resort to such disgusting tactics is testament to us as a team and how we set up. They basically cheated their way to a point as the ref hasn’t done his job. You can pick the bones out of our performance all you want, but we deserved to be playing with more men than them.

An utter disgrace from the referee.

I missed it at the end, that's sickening to not win when we had the better chances and they should have had at least one red card.

Shocking ref, absolutely shambolic decisions. That being said we should have defended better for their goal which was totally undeserved. They barely had a sniff all game considering this would have been one of the hardest games of the season.

Predictable. They should have been down to 9 players, but continue to get ref decisions. We should have killed the game near the end, but there was some inexperience from the likes of Pedro by shooting from impossible angles. Keeping Sarr fit really is key for us, but he looks like he is going to kicked all over the place. Still we are averaging 2 points a game, with a team that should get better. Thought Chalobah had one of his better games

Football is a great leveller, and at our level inconsistencies are more frequent.

Foster has an amazing match on Wednesday, then partially gifts them their equaliser today.

Garner was outstanding midweek, but had an awful half a match today.

Quina has struggled of late, but provided a decent cameo today and twice went close to getting us a second goal.

Pedro has been very sharp in front of goal of late, but today missed a very decent chance when clean through just before we entered stoppage time.

    And so on.

The key to this season will be Ivic getting consistent performances from many, rather than the inconsistencies we’ve seen so far.

Love watching Prutton allow Muff's representative to spout all kinds of s hite about how Solanke had the best chances of the game and they deserved at least a point. ******* hell, can't believe we've allowed ourselves to be forced to endure this for a whole season again.

With basically half a team, we'd managed to pick up points and get high in the table, and right there we put in a good performance, if not quite enough for the win in the end. Reasons to be cheerful for sure!

Unfortunate to concede that goal so late but a point keeps us ticking along nicely with Wycombe to play on Tuesday and hopefully one or two of our missing players will be able to start. I said before the game that I would take 4 points from our next two games and we are still on course for that, I just felt we needed to push higher up the pitch as we let Bournemouth come onto us too much, Bournemouth will more than likely be the best team that we play against this season and will be right up there with us at the end of the season. The quicker we can get Hughes and Capoue match sharp the better for us as we will be able to hold the ball a little better. So far we have had a a bit of a makeshift squad, most of our key players have been out, but we have lost 1 in 7 and picked up 14 points, onwards and upwards!

Regardless, putting in a clear red card challenge on our star player early on in the game is cheating if it’s not punished.

Frustrating end there, if we held on that would've been a big win against a promotion rival. Some great individual performances from Chalobah and Troost-Ekong in particular with Quina also looking lively and creative when he came on.

I said it had the look of a late Bournemouth goal and the sh1te realisation they shouldn't even have 11 men on the pitch. If that tackle happens at any other time than the 1st minute I'm sure that lad is seeing a red. A dangerous elbow on Perica which saw him get a red for a similar thing against Newport, Kellys (who was already on a yellow) pull back on Sarr when he was through and the thigh high tackle on Cleverley in the second half too, never mind the numerous players on yellow cards persistently fouling without as much as a warning. I hope Vlad goes in on the officials in his post match interview.

A 1-0 scoreline is always dangerous, and we didn't keep the ball well enough in the second half which saw us drop deeper which is asking for trouble despite how well we were defending.

A win at Wycombe on Tuesday and we'll still be looking at a very good start.

    Ivic interview on Sky.

Thinks we should have scored a second. Sarr had the best chance with his one on one just after half time. We’re still in the process of settling our team, with players coming back from injury etc. Bournemouth are a tough team. Perica has dislocated his shoulder, he’s okay now and don’t know how long he’ll be out for. And when asked if the Kelly tackle should have been a red card, he said he doesn’t want to speak about the ref and the questioner had already said everything. Then he seemed to get proper annoyed and said he doesn’t understand how we have a two on two counter attack bang on the 97 minutes and the ref blows for full time, even though they’d scored in added time.

I’m not the only one that read this correctly then! Did he actually say we
Did you actually, really think we didn’t deserve to win that?????. I don’t no what you’re basing that on. Can’t be attempts on goal so I can only assume you’re looking at possession stats. They probably did have more touches than us but about 40% of those were them passing it to themselves across their back line. Did we deserve to win that? Absolutely.

I really hate muff right now.

We should have won that match today, but for too much fannying about in stoppage time rather than sensible game management.

They were a vile, dirty side and we were given little protection by the officials, who were all gash. Meanwhile their players rolled around like pussies everytime we tackled them.

Its a pity little talk tonight will focus on our goal, which was a thing of beauty. That ball from Cathcart wow! And a great cross by Sarr to find a crack in their defence for Perica to exploit. Nice to see a forward running onto a cross like that. Good movement. Shame it looks as if he’s now going to miss some more matches.

So muff snatch an undeserved point and it’s beef curtains for our 100% home record, but onwards and upwards for Tuesday and a match we really should win as we look to return to the promised land of the Prem and it’s assorted honey pot.
