Real shame he is going to be out for so long, but as Markoa says at least he wont be going anywhere else for now.
Is that what’s been said? Before the Boro game the club’s injury update said he was a couple of weeks away from returning to training. Maybe if he’s training by the end of September, he could be fit enough to play 3 weeks later.
The good news over Hughes being out until mid-October virtually guarantees he's going nowhere in this window.
He was playing with an injury post lockdown and this is the price of doing that. Hopefully, and this might be wishful thinking, the timing of his return means the transfer window will pass him by and he will stay with us for at least a season.
Are you talking about deeney, why was hughes playing when he is injured or does he in conjunction with deeney pick the team.
I think it’s been reported that he had surgery for a non-football related injury - whatever that might mean. I suppose it could mean he was playing with an ailment of some sort, and waited until the season was over to have the surgery required.

https://www.watfordfc.com/news/hughes-ive-got-to-make-sure-im-right 'Edging closer and closer' to full fitness, which either means the club are lying...or the medical staff are utterly incompetent. Both are feasible
Sounding like his return is not imminent according to an article on the official club site, it could be a few weeks yet by what he was saying
Which was the season where a load of players were permanently "two weeks away from a return"? That was fun
Mazzarri season wasnt it? Everyone thinks he's one of the biggest ****s to ever grace our club, but our squad was trashed by injury that year. His achievements were remarkable really. But he didn't clap in the direction of the drooling hordes in the stands so had to go, obviously.
Think that was Mazarri year when he was ravaged by injuries that took normal clubs 6 weeks to rehabilitate but 4 months for us.
That woman with the home made collage telling him to leave was the most embarrassing moment of our Premier League stay, edging out the 8-0 defeat, waving plastic snakes at Silva and the flags at Wembley. Just a shame that big Walt didn't wander over, cigarette in mouth, look at her in disdain and mutter a "vaffanculo" in her general direction.
