    Dear Sir,

    These conditions are intolerable. I cannot get my ideas and vision across to the players without feeling like Long John Silver. Bereft already of one my assistants and having this looming presence at my shoulder. Yesterday I was ordered to play someone who I won't name and have had arguments with over their fitness and motivation. My set piece coach has had his analysis rubbished and my other assistant abused about playing two upfront and playing narrow in midfield. It is clear to see that we cannot as a group bring to fruition the ideas and fresh thoughts that we sought when we were first brought in to turn this club around. I cannot on my good conscience see assistants who I have worked with great success in the past be belittled. Therefore I have only one course of action left to meand that is to regretfully tender my resignation along with my coaches and scouts. I of course wish the club and it's bizarre fans well for the future.

    PS: I do expect that golden goodbye. Otherwise my legal team will be getting involved.

    I doubt it though. We love making big statements of intent and then going completely against them.

    Let’s just hope this is old news.

    The Pozzo’s probably have spoken to him. Could well be to do with the Udinese job more than the Watford job, but we probably spoke to him about both. Sky are not that reliable when it comes to “breaking news.”

    He’s had a pretty decent season with Udinese, so I would imagine he would stay there.
