Due to lockdown boredom, I was trying to find some old threads but the search functionality doesn't seem to be particularly great. EG, I was trying to find the thread where a forum member told the story of a journalist calling him in the early hours but clicking on the poster involved only brings back about three posts despite them having a high post count. Is this functionality embedded in the forum software or is it to protect against server strain?
We've furloughed a lot of the search monkeys, so work is limited. If you can give me a few more details I'll see if I can dig it up for you but try your search with unticking the this forum only box
No worries. Same happens if you wants to see a user's past posts by clicking on the 'Messages' number in their profile.
