Would be an absurd decision, in my opinion, for Leicester to fire Brendan Rodgers after his first bad run. He’ll be snapped up very quickly and Leicester will almost certainly get someone less talented.

Watford have sacked Nigel Pearson. That’s a thoughtful reward for helping to drag a team out of the relegation zone.

Did an OK job at both, but ended up boring the fans to tears and got sacked before too long. Can't see him doing anything much different if he came here...

Bet he didn't say at the time"Leicester have sacked Ranieri. That's a thoughtful reward for helping them win the Premiership". Hypocritical big-eared ****

    Fits the Pozzo model then.

  17. I know he's a **** but I'd have Rogers back, he'd have us playing the right way, and then in about 6 months time he'd be fired. Win win.

Ridiculous market given that we have no idea what division we'll be in.

What we can forget though, is any kind of up and coming young manager as they'll know they won't get a chance to build anything. Out of work, down on their luck European coach here we come - second tier coach if we stay up, third or fourth if we go down.

I can't give too much away obviously, but I understand another Prem club are about to dismiss their manager and that's why the club is delaying announcing Pearson's departure.

Once their man is out of contract, they'll be able to make the announcement. As I say, can't say too much, but the new man is English and more of a track suited manager than a suit and tie man.

He's got good local ties to Hertfordshire and you could say he's been cherry picked for the job.

A chance for him to take two clubs down from the Prem in one season. Come on down Smug Eddie.

Perfect fit. Gino welcomes Sean back into the Watford family. Kisses and cuddles before another inevitable falling out a year down the line.

  34. He needs to be Italian so can work with Gino and Sideshow Bob; he needs to be someone the fans immediately warm too, he needs to play entertaining expansive football, he needs to develop young players.... I'm going to keep repeating it until you lot are sick of me... Zola is the man
