Here's hoping the extra game makes a difference. Same goes for Arsenal, who may have to play even more games

Great chance for Bournemouth now, later this week. Villa and Watford have already lost, West Ham, Norwich and Brighton will all follow, while the Cherries are up against a Newcastle side being run ragged by Man City in the Cup. They could easily go three points clear while we would be hanging on by one.

Huge game for them with the other fixtures they have to come, possibly even more of a 'must-win' than today was for us

Watching Palace against Burnley. The level of organization, passing to feet and ability to actually play it out from the back from Burnley. They all look fit as well. Compare that to us. I'd have Mee over any of our centrebacks.

For all Burnley's "troubles" they still have a very solid and reliable defence and team.

Only saw parts of the game tonight but I thought the coverage on Amazon Prime was much better than what it was previously.

That makes our 1-0 loss away at Burnley seem not quite as bad.

Dyche has done a bloody fantastic job there and even the football is starting to look less ugly.

They can play when they want to. As was mentioned in the past I would have loved to have had Dyche as defensive coach and Zola as the attacking coach. You cannot argue with what Dyche has done on a limited budget and this current run they are on. I don't think we would be able to go to Old Trafford without already feeling mentally overwhelmed.

I was about to say that I'm glad someone is finally agreeing with what I said waaaaaaaaay back then when Dyche was sacked, we should have gone for that management dream team instead

I only have this one account Luke. I mentioned this idea of having a defence and attack coach at sessions and I thought several seasons ago Dyche at defence and Zola on attack would have been a great combination.

I would loved to see Dyche and Zola coaching Messi and Ronaldo at Watford. I kept saying it years ago but no one listened.

This Brighton vs Utd game is basically what our match vs Chelsea is going to be like.

Relegation party may well begin now. Muff and Spam both in action, and instead of relaxing knowing we did our jobs, we bottled it. Watfordy.

What price on Solanke banging in a hat-trick in the second half?

Unlimited I would think. Him and Gray both cost around the same I think and there are people who don't think that football doesn't need to take long hard look at themselves

3-0 Newcastle. Almiron just strolled forward from 30yds out, ran into the box and put it past the keeper. Ake looked half asleep.

I actually thought muff might win this but they look as bad as we do . This gives me a glimmer of hope we could stay up by default.

And if we don't stay up at least Muff will go down with us. A small compensation in my book but better than nothing.

    Bournemouth. Just wow. 0-4.

Bournemouth are just like us. No passion, utterly toothless in attack and lost it at the back.

Newcastle are what we should be. Determined. A bunch of average players and old hands playing well with a standout star player running the show and a manager who genuinely cares about the club.

Got Man U/City/Spurs/ Everton and Leicester after this.

    Think Bournemouth are doomed.

Bournemouth have apparently had one shot on target in all the games since the restart.

Norwich and Bournemouth are gone given the run in they have. One of three it is. West Ham also have a very difficult series of matches. Lets hope Chelsea score a few and run out of ammunition for the weekend.

Domonic Football, he's the agent of both Solanke and Gray.

I think KGT means that bang average players earn extraordinary salaries by virtue of just being in the PL.
