Others soon to disappear include Goodison Park and the Leitch stand. Or will it become a listed monument ?

Colchester, Rotherham and Donny were Layer Road, Millmoor and Bellevue.

Filbert Street has a big, ugly block of flats on it now. I was 10 when they knocked it down so I don’t remember loads about it other than you couldn’t see the goal in front of the south stand if you sat in the top tier and the men’s toilet in the South Stand was just a room with a very wet, smelly sloped floor and a gutter at one end.

Oh, you've missed out. It's a unique stadium design with a great atmosphere and decent, enthusiastic home supporters. Also handy for the Peak District if you fancy making a weekend of it. Really sorry they went down.

Filbert Street. Great ground. Memories of Emile Heskey and Tony Cotte ripping up MotD back in the day. While we were living it large a few leauges below.

Surely must have had one of the smallest/worst away sections the Prem has seen. About a third of the tiny east stand which can’t have had more than 10 rows and exited straight out onto Filbert Street.

I remember Chelsea fans launching flaming toilet rolls into the South Stand and there being an absolutely terrifying brawl on Filbert Street afterwards. I’m fairly sure it was at same the time Donal Macintyre did his doc about Chelsea fans * and seeing some of the footage of the fighting on there.

I was a year late for Cottee and Heskey and got Akinbiyi and Dean Sturridge instead. :(

The Football League has lost a few good stadiums in the past 50 years on that list on the OP.

We have also lost the following venues from the League in the past 50 years, all grounds that I believe Watford have played League games at during the past 50 years. So name the team:

    1) Borough Park
    2) Feethams
    3) Brisbane Road
    4) Meadow Lane
    5) Holker Street
    6) Haig Avenue
    7) Racecourse Ground
    8) The Shay
    9) Victoria Ground (not Stoke)
    10) Plainmoor
    11) Recreation Ground
    12) Victoria Park
    13) Twerton Park
    14) Bootham Crescent
    15) Sealand Road
    16) Edgeley Park
    17) Edgar Street
    18) Old Show Ground
    19) Gigg Lane
    20) County Ground
    21) The Den
    22) Plough Lane
    23) Huish Park

and I'll throw in a bonus three ex-League grounds of this time period I think we never played at:
    1) York Street
    2) Aggborough
    3) Watling Street

Feel free to add any to either list I've missed

Double mistake - I mean Victoria Road and it should be #4 on the second list not #9 on the first.

Twerton Park was of course Bath City’s ground which was shared by Bristol Rovers after they left Eastville (where the gasworks was - hence ‘The Gas’). Borough Park, I assume, must have been Workington.
I’m pleased to say I saw Watford play at twelve of those venues.

I do love looking at old photographs of places and comparing them to their current state and observing the changes. From Berlin, the Somme and of course Watford and the surroundings. The Eastville Stadium was near two gas holders. I was looking at some pictures of the ground and you can see as with Watford the encroachment of development on the countryside. Consuming formers fields and the lake with rapacity. One can observe the viaduct of the Clifton Railway which is no longer there thanks to Mr.Beeching and his myopia (instead of which you can see the misplaced faith in road with the presence of that glowering flyover), the River Frome curling around the stadium and the development of a retail centre next to Eastville. And the site as it is now occupied by IKEA.
