Great show as is the Long Way Down. Charlie Boorman also has a good show/book about a different adventure he did, By Any Means

Yes I’ve seen those too but I don’t think anything surpasses that original trip. The issues they hit in Mongolia and the night with the Russian mafia with Kalashnikovs everywhere must have been terrifying.

So in Always Sunny in series three, in the episode ‘Frank sets Sweet Dee on fire’ the gang end up in an outdoor fish market in Chinatown looking for something to film for their public access show. Frank says that they should do a story about a new pandemic starting in the market as they pass fish heads around him.

    From 2007.

If you haven’t seen it and you liked Breaking Bad you’ll like this

Looking for a new series to watch with the family, including the 13 and 16 yr old. Was wondering if anyone has watched “The Stranger” and whether they’d recommend it? (No spoilers please)

Not bad. Preferred "Safe" personally which is based on another story from the same writer as The Stranger. Very similar styles.

Both ridiculous but fun, as Moose said.

Completely agree, pacing all over the shop and awful acting but I felt as though I wanted to know the ending.

Innocence project on Netflix. A little bit too much blah blah but it's just amazing how some of these people have been locked up and some still on death row with simply no evidence whatsoever. The first two episodes on bite mark evidence is frightening as is Dr West. Well worth a view if these docs interest you.

Yes, but he really should be known as David from the brilliant ‘Six Feet Under’. (IMDB 8.7)

I haven't watched this week's episode yet, but I concur that this season has been incredibly good. The previous seasons were also good and the writer's have brilliantly built it up stage by stage

Do you need to remember much from Breaking Bad for Better Call Saul?

Watched Breaking Bad years ago when it came out so don't remember too much - although I was slightly disappointed in the overall story so maybe Better Call Saul wouldn't be for me anyway in that case.

Nothing. You can actually really know nothing about BB as BCS is in its own little world.

Other than thinking ‘oh there’s so and so’ or noticing the odd Easter egg BCD is a completely self show. That’s one of the things that’s so impressive about it, in that it doesn’t lean on the success of BB to entertain.

It is my absolute favourite comedy by a long way but the last two series are definitely a lot weaker

but you have my personal favourite episode to look forward to , the nightman cometh, a little sneaky peak (don’t think it’s a spoiler )

if you want spooky **** that seems to close to real world for comfort the tv series of 12 monkeys is pretty good (but not as good as the film)

There is a Louie Theroux episode from a good few years ago and the one who comes across as a real horrible person is Tim Stark (Lowe’s mate)

it’s weird watching a programme where you want everybody to be arrested , Joey was clearly grooming young men and probably killed tigers once he couldn’t use then for photographs. Carol probably killed her husband and seemed like a money grabbing bitch that was using tigers as much as the rest of them. Did I also hear in one of the episodes that there are more tigers in America than in the wild ?

I also can’t help thinking that this current trend for taking photos of yourself looking like Joey is slightly misplaced , would seem a bit like doing a Halloween dressed up as Rolf Harris

The only thing is that having seen BB, we know that BCS will eventually come to an end, and may cumulate up to the point where Badger gets arrested.

The main unknown is what will happen to Kim. I did also question what would happen to Nacho but
I think that based on S5E9 this week that he may be allowed to 'retire' unless something bad happens in the season finale next week

So it looks like the final (three?) episodes of this going to link into the next "Star Wars" film (judging by the change of theop ening title to something more like the films) or the 2nd series of "The Mandalorian"...

Yeah which was also true 10 years ago when Louis Theroux made that episode about dangerous pets, you can only imagine the numbers in captivity vs in the wild have grown even further apart since then.

We watched that Louis episode after we’d done Tigger King. It focused more monkeys and chimps which people clearly used as a replacement for having kids, though it was never explicitly said. As usual with his docs their behaviour came from a place of sadness to start with but ended up with the owners being ****heads towards animals that shouldn’t live in a shed at the bottom of a garden.

Thanks for the spoiler warning! I’m saving this series of BCS for a binge when it’s all been released.

Kim is an awesome character, I can’t wait to see what happens with her as the timeline gets closer to BB.

I am looking forward to that one, I’m trying not to skip ahead though.

I’ve had the Dayman song from Sweet Dee’s dating a ******** person stuck in my head for weeks. That scene when Dennis walks in on Charlie huffing spray paint and they write the song is the highlight of the whole thing so far for me.
