This might have been covered elsewhere, but I can't find it... Why are all the forum titles and thread titles in italics at the moment?
They have for me. Thought it was a bit odd. Not a fan personally. They seem to be in Italics for threads that have new posts on them but then revert back to normal font once you’ve read up to date on the thread.
Test driving a new setting. On My PC I couldn't tell the difference between read an unread posts so a flipped a switch to try italic for unread sections and threads. If it annoys enough people I can switch it off again.
It was annoying because I didn't know what it meant! Preferred the non italic view but not a big deal really.
On my son's PC (WIndows) it shows using the dignified/authotitarian ComicSans. But on my linux set-up it's just Italic - any chance of some consitency?
You need to be looking at the WFC Forums 2 (WIP) style WIP stands for Work in Progress. This is selected via the link bottom left. How the font then looks might depend on which fonts your system has installed and hence which one the browser defaults to as the text is not forced to any particular one. If your default font doesn't have an italic option, then unread sections/threads won't show as italic.
As I said above I do see the italics but, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really bother me one way or another.
I just came to start this thread as i thought i was going mad, but glad to see i am not. Turn them off, they are horrid lol
