Agreed completely. Probably the finest "television" show of my lifetime.

The series finale fostered mixed feelings in the best possible way, and the penultimate episode was sheer brilliance.

I am going to seriously miss Bojack Horseman, but it will have a lasting legacy. I will bet it is used by teachers to educate future psychology students, for example.

It is also a member of an elite group of shows that have gone cradle to grave without a notable drop in quality in later seasons, no mean feat 6 seasons in.

Great to see Better Call Saul back on Netflix.

Each season seems to get better and better, so far they have only released the first two episodes, then every Tuesday they will release the next. From what has happened so far in the first two episodes, this season is going to be a massive roller coaster.

    GoingDown "The Stability"

One of my favourite ever TV shows, definitely the best animated show. Probably, as you said, the finest show.

The underwater episode is one of the finest TV episodes ever made, I regularly rewatch it as I will the final season episodes focused on Princess Carolyn ("The New Client") and the episode where everyone is hiding during the Mr Peanutbutter/Pickles argument in "Surprise!".

It felt like it ended a season too early, I'd imagine they were going....

...down a Bojack in prison route and because that was rushed through, we never got to see him deal with the consequences of what he did to Sarah Lynn. I also felt like he never really resolved his issues with Todd, although maybe that was the point.

I will also miss the show and hold out hope for one off specials. I doubt we'll see such a show again.

I think the lack of resolution was perfect. Bojack was never about neat and tidy redemption. It was about a flawed, abusive anti-hero who tried to get better, kept failing, but still, went back and tried to get better again. There would never be a conclusive wrap up to most of the threads of his life, because that is not what happens. What happens is that Bojack keeps on trying to be a better person (or anthropomorphic horse) even though he has fallen time and time again. When the series finishes, he hasn't achieved perfection, he's just got himself into a better place. I think Diane even said something about if he falls of the wagon again, he will get clean again. He's done irreparable damage to some of his relationships, but he's started to improve his relationship with himself and one hopes that he'll forge new, healthier relationships from the end point of the series into the future.

I am indeed and it is brilliant, typical sort of Steven King sort of horror/thriller.

    Strikeback.

Not sure how I missed it first time round but seeing adverts for the new series I've just binged watched the first and it's very good. Spooks (with the bloke from Spooks) meets 24.

Started the 2nd series, all available on catchup with Sky.

I actually like it more than Breaking Bad. It's got a more human-experience based plot and explores some interesting themes.

I know prequels can be difficult because the endgame is sort of known from the outset. The writers have been very clever about how they've nurtured the Saul character from the beginning, the real unknowns will be what happens to Kim and Nacho, neither of whom were in Breaking Bad. I suspect that Kim will simply leave Jimmy and Nacho either ends up in prison or gets killed off.

I wouldn't be surprised to see both Kim and Nacho die.

The former is Jimmy's last remaining tie to decency. If something happened to her it would go a long way towards explaining him no longer giving a single ****, particularly if her death was in some part a case of being ****ed by the system.

Did anyone see Flesh and Blood? My sister has just informed me that the storyline is very close to home. Unfortunately the same thing happened to our Mum, minus the murder. The stories that we've been told after my Mum's passing are harrowing at the least. We had our suspicions but they were always waved away by our Mum as him being eccentric. But I must admit I've thoroughly enjoyed making his life a misery ever since. I just can't leave it and quite frankly have to much time on my hands.
So please if you ever find yourselves in this very same situation. Do take the time to find out in great depth what their new partners are like. Before it could be to late. In our case it was effin frightening once we dug. Do talk openly and honestly with them and for God's sake don't always believe them like we did. There are some evil people out there just waiting to pray on unsuspecting victims and that's exactly the right word VICTIMS.
Just to sum up I'm not saying everyone is bad, far from it. Just take your time to get to know them and keep an eye on what's happening.

Wow, that’s a lot to go through. It must be a difficult realisation because first impulse is to try to welcome a person in.

And indeed that's what we did. He was an absolute genius at manipulating anyone and everyone. All we wanted was for our mum to be happy but we did that in a very blinkered way because we always want to see the best in people. Its amazing how one person has changed my entire outlook on other people. They're experts in thier fields and still can't believe how I fell for his suave persona.

Had the same thing happen to me, although mine happened early in life (20). You're never quite the same, but probably better off for it in the long run.

Hopefully you're well shot of the prat.

  18. Late to the Project Blue Book party but wanted to catch up before season 2 starts.

4 episodes in and loving it so far. The 2 main characters are starting to bounce off each other nicely and the storylines are interesting, especially as I've read about most of them before.

And the post war scene setting is pretty good to with all the cold war undertones.

    Really good so far.

    For the true crime lovers.
The Trails of Gabriel Fernandez on Netflix. Hard to watch about this poor little kid.
The confession tapes Netflix again. Never do I want to get arrested in the United States especially by some backwoods hillbilly.
The Wrong man. Directed by the same guy who gave us the Memphis 3 documentaries. Slightly biased towards their cases but what documentary isn't made that way.
Murder 24/7 on BBC iplayer. I love these types of programmes you get to see a different insight in how the UK police work cases.
As you can see I've been watching far too much television.

We are currently binge watching "Last Tango in Halifax" from the very start as we have only just got into it with the start of the current series which is series No5.

So far we think it is great, give it a shot if you have not watched it before we are glad we did.

I’m just about half way through the second season, only really started when I saw how positive people were being about the ending. Rattling through now, looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I love the music in the show too, it works really well.

    Anyone signing up for Disney+?

You can get a year for £50 at the minute although the deal finishes tomorrow when it is released. Not a massive saving mind you, think it is £5 a month without a yearly subscription.

Just what we all needed. Another streaming subscription service. With Sky, Netflix, Amazon, BT Sport, Google Music, Apple TV, Spotify, youtube, and pornhub I can't afford Disney.

I watched the first five minutes of this series and I switched off.

I'm no prude, but they must have used the F WORD ABOUT TEN TO FIFTEEN TIMES in that first five minutes, and mostly it was completely out of context and unnecessary, hence I decided to give it a miss.
