Really doesn't suprise me. Error no. 1 was rebranding something that was different and unique with a corporate image. Error no.2 was pricing a lot of decent shops out so that only coffee shops could afford to pay the rent. Newsflash people don't browse coffee shops. They might have a coffee if they're looking in other shops, take those away and the coffee shops fail too. If John Lewis decide to bugger off then I think the Harlequin would die because I can;t see any other attraction to shoppign in Watford. Error no.3 is charging for parking when Amazon deliver your chinese **** for free. They need to make parking free other than on match days and between the hours of 8:00 & 9:30 weekdays.
Just before the Zombie apocolypse started I'd discovered Ali Express which if you don't mind waiting 4-6 weeks for things massively undercuts Amazon on cheap chinese tat as well.
Not true. What about the Club Shop? If I didn't live in Watford I would drive the x amount of miles to grab some top merch and bargins.
Since when has the club shop ever had top merch or indeed bargains. I remember when it was counter only service and a shop halfway up vicarage road. That's when I got my FA cup final shirt.
