I do watch and have read a number of books on serial killers as I want to understand certain things about them and maybe it is a little morbid but I find it interesting. This guy without question would have carried on had he not been caught so again I want to hear about him, what drives people like that, how the police deal with it. Having said that i did find the killing of animals uncomfortable viewing

Money Heist on Netflix is fantastic so far (watched 9 episodes of series 1).

Worth a watch if you don't mind watching a dubbed TV show (it is originally Spanish).

Cant stand dubbed, subtitled is fine. The old chinese martial arts films are all acceptable with subtitles but utterly awful dubbed.

This is the first dubbed show I've watched and I actually quite enjoy the peculiarity of it all.

I think you can change the audio to the original Spanish and add subtitles though.

Makes it all the more amusing that the GOT fan backlash lost them Star Wars. :D

Fighting cancer, irritating teenage kids, office politics, broken marriages, etc? I thinks it's just changing with the characters as they get older. "Friends" move on.

BBC news ? One show? Mock the week ? Pretty much every show is "more different".
I'm not saying it's the same as EE. but it doesnt make me smile much anymore. It's not been the same since they killed off Baxendale.

Inside no 9 is excellent. Bit late to the party on this as I think it started in 2014!

Just watched the last ever episode of "The Deuce"

It was a great series watch it if you can from the very beginning.

An extremely underrated series (much like Simons's earlier masterpiece "Homicide: Life on the Street" which was billed "...as the best show you've never seen..."). For it's subject matter it was a surprisingly 'unsexy' watch.

  17. Netflix 'Messiah' highly recommended

I’d highly recommend the Stranger on Netflik. Think it has only been on Netflix for a week, but I’ve binge-watch the lot. A bit of a thriller with a few twists that keeps the interest going over 8 episodes

I thought they ended it well, all things considered. The penultimate episode was wonderfully written, albeit pretty dark and bleak in places (Secreteridad's poem in particular).

We've done much the same as you because of the imminent final series of The Clone Wars:

It was always rumoured that it was cancelled because it was getting far too adult/graphic for Disney. S1 is very much a (good) kids cartoon, but towards the end of S2 it starts to get, much darker so much so that a couple of the eps in S3 appear to be strongly influenced by the opening scenes of "Saving Private Ryan" with dialogue amongst the Clone Troopers about the futility of war that appears to be lifted from "Apocalypse Now" (Do Lung Bridge) - lots of discussions about whether they're just merer clones. We've just started s5 that begun with
Darth Maul and his brother Savage Opres
slaughtering the inhabitants of a peaceful planet in order to
lure Obi Wan Kenobi to his death
. I also seem to remember that later episodes deal with corruption in the Jedi Order
with a young Jedi leaving the order
and it was starting to explain what happened to the Clone Troopers to cause them to turn on the Jedi.

I frequently see the box sets in various CEX's and would suggest parting with some of your Earth Pounds to get them. They used to be in the entirety on Netflix.

Watched the final episodes of Bojack Horseman last week.

Overall, I think it was one of the most perfectly crafted pieces of television of the past decade. Just beautiful. I think the ending was done well. I won't post any spoilers but I'm sure, as with any finale, there will be debate, but I think they pitched it just about right.

Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't seen it.
