God forbid we get a run of injuries beyond what we have now. None of this lot look anywhere near capable of stepping into a crisis.

 

He is only 17 plays in the under 18 squad, great experience for the lad.

 

Including Andre Gray I am listening to the game on Hornets Player and I didn't even know he was playing.

 

Andre Gray can't even do the kick off properly.....

How is this humiliating? We were obviously trying to lose and we did. Job done.

 

Perfect result. Not remotely embarrassing. We literally threw the game by choosing players no one other than @The Recluse had ever heard of.

Don't know how i feel, it wasn't anything like a first team, away from home on a awful pitch. The thing that we should be embarrassed about was the first match (only because we threw away a 3.0 lead) not really tonight. This cup upset will be quickly forgotten. It won't even be the main news up in Birkenhead/Merseyside what with Liverpool winning tonight. We go again.

 

Yay.....let's hope Everton smash us too. I expect you'll be delirious with joy.

 

I bet the Ticket Office staff are chuffed to bits with all the refunds they've got to issue !

 

Should have played the kids v Villa and put out the big guns.

It won’t affect confidence. If that was a real threat or concern, Pearson would have played a stronger team.

His comments before the first game about it being of zero importance to the club show you that.

The only annoyance will be that Pearson gave some players a chance to perform - and none of them took it. He should be on to Gino and Giraldi tomorrow to highlight how poor the squad depth is.

Want to be angry about going out? Blame the FA and BT Sport. The game should never have been scheduled for tonight.

Pearson has confirmed the same team tonight will start against Everton, so it could happen.

 

Thank god we're out. No chance of winning it and we are still in such a perilous position in the league that the last thing we want or need is a cup run.
