Is this new? I believe I've seen something about the case before.

Nice! I reckon I can do the first 4 again in that time....

I think it is but then again Carpster it was the first time I had seen it. Well worth a watch if only to see justice being served on these two despicable reprobates. Not an ounce of empathy or remorse from them.

Going to watch it tonight. Just found it on YouTube. I must say the case sounds extremely strange. So if you've seen other programs like this let us know please.

Absolutely unbelievable case and a fantastic watch. It's difficult to work out who was the most evil between the two. But the news interview with those two sent shivers down my spine. The coldness shown is horrendous. Hopefully the BBC will carry on making television shows like this. My Mrs is still going on about it today.

Started “Don’t F*ck With Cats” last night. We intended to watch one episode then go to bed.

Ended up watching the whole thing because we had to know how it all ended.

    Not light watching, but compelling.

Don’t let young kids watch it. It’s far too graphic and disturbing.

I tried to do the first episode of Vikings last night and found it mind numbing. Fell asleep after about half an hour. It does that thing where they speak English but in an accent and with bad grammar. I can suspend my disbelief and have a loquacious Viking with an estuary accent or I can just read subtitles if it helps good acting. The third option is just grating.

I’ll admit I’m not in the best mood this week.... is it worth sticking with? The first episode didn’t grab me at all.

Two part 24 hours in police custody was a good watch.

OK I like 24 hours in Police custody. Is there only two episodes this season?

  9. Filbert

Not sure, they showed the two parter again last night as a two hour special so I’m thinking it might just be this one story for now.

Did you see the episode last year with the antiques fraud? I still think about that bloke quite often, what a *******.

I can't watch anything with animal cruelty, Chernobyl episode 4 was difficult enough, so unfortunately I won't be watching this.

I've read up on him and yes it's horrific, however I'm not interested in watching videos of defenceless animals being tortured and suffering.

They don’t actually show any of that.

It’s just the start of the videos, so you can kind of see where it is going, then stops before anything is shown.

It leaves no doubt as to what he did, but without actually showing it.

I appreciate they wouldn't show all of it, however if I don't watch it then I can remain in denial...if I see the start of it then the thought of it would upset me deeply.

Oh, I understand that completely. Animal abuse is very hard for me too, as it is for most people, so I fully get where you are coming from. I went into it somewhat blind so I wasn't full aware of what was coming.

I simply wanted to remove any doubt that the program actually shows the full videos, as it does not. But for anyone with any concept of consequences or even a semblance of an imagination, there's no room for denial.

    I think that's quite a common reaction.

If you think back to the female detective, she was able to quite calmly describe a crime scene, what she found, objects, the suitcase, etc. Composed, professional, no problem. A short while later she starts describing the puppy and ends up bursting into tears.

This is a seasoned professional who works in homicide.

Just watched the latest episode of Cold Feet.

Every series, I say that I won't get so emotional. It's a bit contrived and sentimental, and Mrs ZZ laughs at how I am such a softy.

I've got tears as big as walnuts rolling down my cheeks.

But I think it is writing at it's best, it is just brilliant.

I've a few biggies that I've never got around to watching like The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Power, Suits and many more I can't think of.

Never been the Harry Potter,Lord of the Rings type, would that rule out any chance of me liking GoT?

Which of these should I hit up first?

Game of Thrones is a fantastic journey until the last episode when it becomes utterly dreadful.

I hate Harry Potter but loved GoT. My girlfriend hates LOTR but loved GoT.

It’s both entertaining and monumentally bad. It’s not at all clear to me why water stations haven’t got back up generators or can’t be run from mobile ones, so quite why the entire population of the North needs to camp out in Newcastle waiting for a small bottle of Evian is beyond me.

David Haig is excellent, but all the other Tories are conscientious and clever, so it might as well have dragons such is the realism. Who is the short-haired woman supposed to be? Dominic Cummings? Robert Carlyle is good, but we know exactly what a Tory PM does when faced with even the slightest mob and that’s run for the nearest fridge.

Still any drama where it all goes to ruin, Survivors or Twenty Eight Days Later or Day of the Triffids is always good fun.

Yes it's getting a bit too high on the emotional stuff now and starting to appear to be targetted squarely at the fairer sex. The humour element seems far lower than before. And the kids are just plain irritating. Still watchable but only just...Mrs TuT loves it more and more...

I think GoT actually started to drift off by the whole of the last series. It was so rushed and the twists were delivered so badly that they didn't make any sense. I have never actually felt cheated by a shot before, but GoT cheated all the fans.

No idea why anyone would watch a programme on this irrespective of whether the details are shown or not. What possible enjoyment is there to glean from it other than a morbid fascination ?

Season 14 of Always Sunny is on Netflix now. So far so good. I felt Season 13 tailed off a bit (Mac Finds his Pride was an obvious showcase for Rob's physique and made absolutely no sense). Now they've embraced the fact that the cast are older and have even more to feel ****** about and fuel their self hatred and internal bickering.

Indeed. Benioff and Weiss wanted to end it quickly so they could start work on Star Wars.

I'm not so much cheated, more insulted...especially by the military tactics in the Long Night...place all your troops in front of the flammable trench?!

I sort of agree. I'm able to be entertained by something like this without having to drill down into the detail to see if it's accurate. It is entertainment after all not a documentary
The list of stuff in it that was technically wrong was huge.
I thought the acting was good, treat them as new and different characters rather than trying to equate them with current politicians and you'll enjoy it so much more.
