Stanislas, 30, has only just returned to action after eight months out with hamstring and knee problems. The winger is rated at around £4 million - but Bournemouth are reluctant to sell to relegation rivals."
Dear god. If the quality of players we're being linked with in this window is any indicator then we must be really serious about this whole getting relegated job...
It’s just following the usual January pathway... Starts off with quality, recognised names in positions of need - then to the average names - then to the poor names... Bargain basement stuff. 30 year old injury prone reserve at relegation rival. Are the coffers empty or are the Pozzos worried about overspending pre relegation ?
I always like the idea that a coach is ‘plotting’ a move, as if Nigel Pearson is twiddling an imaginary moustache saying and then this injury prone 30 year old will be mine! Muhahahahaha! MUHAHAHAHAHA!

Don’t mock this great ex Beaverbrook pillar of the establishment. It’s a must read with ‘panic’ banner headlines keeping us informed on the vital weather, terrorist, Diana and health issues - eg by keeping the great statin debate going with alternate headlines- Higher dose of statins could 'saves lives' and Statins FAKE NEWS is ‘killing the elderly’, claims top scientist
Just doing my research on him and I have discovered that Stanislas went to Catholic school as a child and Crown Woods School in Eltham in his teens. He remains a devout Christian today. His favourite stadium to play at is Old Trafford. There could well be something in this.
If you name your son junior, and he names his son junior, his son becomes junior jr, and the father becomes junior sr. For that reason, I'm out
