Two un-named premier league teams have made contact with Reims about their left back Hassane Kamara. Plan B? Source: L'Equipe https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.c...ague-sides-approach-reims-for-hassane-kamara/
Was openly quoted as saying he’s going to see out his contract at Spurs even if they try and force him out. Don’t think he’ll be going anywhere.
Blatant ‘come and get me’ plea. Like when Mrs Moose says she doesn’t need anything for Xmas. Words not to be taken on face value.
I agree. I think Masina is probably the most underrated player at Watford. Sure, he's had a slow start but I can see he's improved a lot over the past few months. I'm not so sure we need a new left sided defender as what I've seen of him and Kiko in that position over the past few weeks, I'd say we're quite strong there now. (Certainly stronger than other areas of defence) It's the central positions and on the right where we probably need a couple of additions.
He does tend to go to ground a little easy on occasions. He did it again Saturday and let the opposition fly forward. Agreed he's improved and yes Kiko has made me eat my words since Parsons arrived. But would still prefer him on his preferred right-side. That depends on on his injury too. Mapps and Dawson can do a job on that side if necessary. But that also depends on if we have anyone available to play centrally.
A new mountain bike, in a size that would fit me, y’know, just in case she didn’t like it. Did a lot of research to ensure it could deal with pretty severe terrain and drop offs that she may encounter on, er, her way to the station. Lightweight, fast, yet sturdy are all words that could also be applied to this mountain bike as well as Mrs Moose.
They're crap too in fairness, just have delusions of grandeur. Sideways move to the Everton of Serie A.
For me, ideally we’d have Masina and a new signing as the options for the left back spot. I know Kiko has had a mini resurgence under Pearson, but we’ve seen enough of him over the last few years to think that it probably won’t last. Being content with the options we have at the back is part of what got us into this mess, so I think it’s time we bring somebody in who is a genuine and obvious upgrade. To be clear, I rate Masina and he’s looked the part over the last few weeks, but I’m not comfortable in believing we’d be okay going forward into the second half of this season with Kiko and him as the options there. I fully agree that we need a big upgrade in the central and right positions too, but I wouldn’t be so quick to forget about the left side.
Don't forget we have Holebas as well for the left back position. I think Holebas, Masina and Kiko is enough to get us through this season. I see we have more of an issue at right back. If Kiko is on the left then that leaves us short on the right. With Janmaat out, we have to make do with Mapps or Dawson which is more of an emergency cover rather than something we should be using for a longer period of time.
I’ll accept that there’s a more immediate need to improve the right side and central of defense, but I’m not going to accept that Kiko and Masina is enough. If there’s a clear upgrade available now, in any of those spots, we need to bring them in.
Guilty as charged. I’ve given up fighting auto-correct. D-FENCE Clap, clap, clap D-FENCE Clap, clap, clap
This is more of a hypothesis, but makes a bit of sense I suppose. http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-considering-player-exchange-watford-formula-january-transfer/
Rodrigues is a little young at 27 for our experienced defence, but, a swap deal involving Masssssina and a few million would be a most decent affair. Masssssssina has shown he ain't kak, but the Swiss man with the Spanish sounding name in our small club would be massive good.
