Plus Kessie from Milan https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....endono-forma-watford-sullivoriano/amp/?espv=1
Both Rodriguez and Kessie would be huge signings. You’d have to think Kessie coming in would be because one of Capoue or Doucoure (much more likely the latter) would be off.
I can’t believe Rodriguez is still only 26, feels like he has been around forever. Like Anelka use to feel.
"According to what reported by@SkySport the mermaids from the Premier League for Frank Kessie are taking on more and more shape taking the name of Watford." Big if true
Does this mean we actually will add to Predro? A new defender and midfielder... have to wait and see I guess. January could get very interesting,
No chance. Not in our current league position. Rodriguez would be exactly what we need in the set piece department and Kessie is miles beyond our level. An ambitious loan approach might work, though.
Don't care if he defends like Zeegelaar as long as he can smash just one free kick in to the top corner...
Changed my mind. Watched one of those YouTube highlights videos and this guy has the ugliest running gait you'll ever see. Couldn't even make it to the bit where he presumably scores some free kicks as was too upset by him Quadimodoing up and down the wing.
I think he'll want to play some games before the Euros in the summer and we can pretty much guarantee him football every week. A loan with a view to a permanent deal is probably the best we can hope for. But if Fenerbahce and Napoli want him as well then it's going to be difficult!
Perhaps it's something to do with mixed nationality Swiss. I have never seen any player move with less (fewer) grace than Alex Geijo
Kessie has all the hallmarks of being another Jean Seri, who arrived at Fulham to much acclaim, did nothing, and went to Turkey 12 months later.
http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-labelled-true-favourites-signing-getting-closer-left-back/ Things progressing nicely by the sounds of it.
Not sure we should be going for players who are willing to join clubs in the relegation zone We need players with ambition
Agreed. If we wait until the end of the window, we'll be well clear of the relegation zone and probably thinking about a late run for Europe so will be able to get much better players in.
Has he signed yet? Or do we need to bundle him into the boot of Giraldi's Fiat as is traditional with left back recruitment tactics?
Calcio Mercato in Italy tonight claiming we have offered some sort of swap deal with Masina going the other way. Masina would probably like the deal to go back to Italy where he’s quite highly rated. Clear really that he’s not going to be first choice LB for us so makes sense to swap him for someone who will be. Holebas can go in the summer when the club will perhaps bring Estupinan back from Spain. What this doesn’t factor in is the report that Milan want a quick sale for Rodriguez as they need to raise funds. Taking Masina doesn’t maximise that.
Not a chance this is happening. All agent talk, he will stay in Serie A and join Genoa or someone like that.
