We are f<#*ed, I’m afraid. Disappointing in the extreme, but a stint in the championship might mean a few more victories. A period of Yo-yo time is the best we can hope given our size, location and resources. There is no such thing as an established premier league club outside 8-10 clubs. We will never be one of those. If we beat a Swansea, Hull, QPR in home game at the Vic next season it is a much better feeling than a 3-0 drubbing this season.

 

I agree to an extent, however this situation was entirely avoidable.

This season is a write off, due to the hiring of QSF and total failure that he oversaw, so we need to make this choice with the future in mind. We need a younger, charismatic progressive manager, who’ll have the next 6 months to weed out the players who won’t be of use next season, and maybe blood some of the better young players.

 

What are the odds that when the equaliser went in, Gino was on the blower telling them to warm up the private jet.

I’m going to keep saying it until I get a like from everyone on this forum, but get Souness in ffs.

 

They’re near neighbours in Belgravia.

 

If it’s some of the names on here then it’s a last throw of the dice salvage job with a ‘better’ replacement in the summer.

Not really sure what or who I want. But next season I’d like to see a young, hungry, energetic team, regardless of which league we’re in. Bring all our players from around the globe over (if they have the permits to work here) and build a new squad from them all.
