After three games the table is beginning to shape up much as expected. Leeds look destined for PL football next season, and Luton have faltered since their 3-3 epic against Middlesborough. Stoke fans are most certainly the most disgruntled at the moment.

I expect Cardiff to improve and as for the promotions, I think Leeds, WBA and Swansea or Fulham....just because the parachute payments give them a massive advantage over the rest. Sheffield Wednesday I think will continue to flatter to deceive, and Forest/Derby will likewise be close but not close enough.

Brentford to be a wild card.

Well Leeds and Derby will probably blow promotion as usual .

Fancy West Brom and Fulham .

Who will be the surprise team at the top? .

Look forward to the derbies v Luton next season..

Luton's new record signing not doing well.

4 games and 4 mistakes at least !

  6. The deflation after the hopeful expectation of that opening game Friday night draw must be heart wrenching to the neanderthals!

I opened this thread hoping for some mickey taking of that lot up the road and I wasn’t disappointed!! How much nicer it is see them losing and near the bottom of the league than recent seasons. Long may it continue

Disappointed little Fernando didn't get on to put them to the sword.

Maybe in the return at the Cardboard Box.

Harry Arter living up to his reputation.

Booked for a bad foul then red carded seconds later for a dive !

I doubt he learned to dive in a swimming pool either. Muff will be recalling him after that.

Jack Rodwell - remember him?! - last played with Blackburn Rovers last season and is currently unattached.

Well, he's undergoing a medical at AS Roma tomorrow and all being well will sign as a free agent for the Serie A side soon after.

    Funny old game innit.

It's shaping up to be a brilliantly exciting league again this season. After 14 games, Brentford in 12th are 4 points below Preston in second, despite having won only one more game than they've lost..

So Fulham up to the dizzy heights of 4rh. Quite a turn around as they started fairly poorly. Looks like WBA might walk it, but Leeds and even Sheff Wed look decent this season,
What the hell has happened to Middlesbrough?

Appointment of a local hero in his first job never works!

Surprised Woodgate is still there .

Hopefully Leeds will destroy L**** both on and off the pitch today.

How would we know if they'd destroyed it off the pitch?

Looks like we might not be playing them after all next season as it stands, they clearly are woeful.

Already looking good for WBA and Leeds at the top unless the latter bottle it again Z

Usual slugfest behind with no-one being consistent.

    Jones out is the cry..

Maybe they should get Nathan back or even Mick Hartford to save them.

Would be great if we survived and they went back down. Two league gap would increase the banter.

    3 down now!

So will Loon sack Jones and who will replace him?
    I offer the following possibilities:
    1) Corporal Jones.
    2) Peter Jones, emeritus classics professor and jaunty author of Greek textbooks.
    3) Peter Jones department store,Sloane Square.
    4) Liz Jones Batchwood tennis coach and Ucoach tutor.
    5) Joan,my friend's mother.
    Tough choice...
