    Who would come to Watford?
An ageing been round the block guy or an up and coming guy with ambition appointment?
This season is a bust, so what next for the new appointment after the Friday game?

Mourinho a short term project until the end of the season. Beneficial to both parties.

Why dont we have 5 or 6 of them? Name one for each game and have the rest on the bench. If we are playing poorly bring a new manager on at half time.

He’s looking for a job, he’s got managerial experience, he loves our club, he could at least coach the forwards and what a PR coup ...

  13. The U23 bloke. Mullins. Half the first team will be gone in 18 months and replaced by U23s as we’ll need to cut costs in the championship, and he’s doing a great job with them.

Arsene Wegner to the end of the season. Knows the way to set up a team to attack. His presence alone gives the lads a huge boost as they all want to show they can play. We become a free scoring side. Famous for our glory in defeat.

For Arsene he can keep tabs on how his successor is doing next door. He will bring with him a couple of young up and coming coaches to work with him this season to then take over in May. He gets loved for ever by the Watford faithful for turning out a team that scores three goals in five successive matches. No expectations to win anything.

No one expects stay up now, and we go down having scored 60 goals this season - Another record for a relegated side. The upturn in the goals scored adds £milliions to the sell on value of Deulofeu, etc.

Arsene secures 4 top quality loans who batter the opposition, but fail to shore up a creaky defence. Sales of Watford merchandise shoot through the roof in West Africa. Watford Fans TV hits 10,000 subscribers.

It will also please 50% of the Sir Elton John Stand season ticket holders to see their old manager return.

    Win win all round

A little bit left field, but Lee Johnson from Bristol City is getting a lot of rave reviews and apparently we looked at him when we sacked Gracia.

Only 38 and has Watford connections as previously on the books as a youth team player.

If we lose at Norwich, then we have nothing to lose really as we're down anyway barring a miracle.

Wasn't he sacked as a youth team player for attitude problem or some other mistamina after his dad had left his role with us ?

Something along those lines I believe. His Dad was a cunning fox by all accounts too.
Anyways I've been thinking this over since QSF took over. Plenty of people would jump at the chance to manage a Premier league team, even if was only to the end of the season. Anyways after another poor result and inept performance I have no doubt panic will again set in. Especially after another vocal response from the supporters after yet another negative substitution when chasing the game.
I'm going to throw John Terry into the mix. Has been absolutely fantastic since joining Villa. Yes he's been a prime pick in his career but has also done and achieved everything for club and Country. What could possibly go wrong.

A terrifying creation combining former Valencia hotshot Mista, and Everton defensive colossus Yerry Mina? He was rightly sacked if that’s the case.

So did Alan Shearer - that didn't make him a good manager. Managing is a completely different career to playing and should be judged as one. I know he's been doing his coaching badges and has a decent role at Villa but we'd still be going in completely blind as to how he'd work as a manager and that's not worth the risk when there's so many managers out there who are actually proven.

I think we’ve missed the boat on a decent managerial hire. Nobody worth having is likely to want to join this sinking ship.

We might be able to pull off what Hull did and attract an ambitious candidate as they did with Silva on a short-term deal, but if we end up going down and his reputation has been enhanced at all, he’ll be gone. Equally, if we stay up, I reckon the same candidate would also have suitors higher up, and given our high turnover of coaches, it would be hard for them to reject such an offer.

Nope, our hopes are gone. We’ll end up with a journeyman who’ll achieve pretty much the same what we’ve delivered so far. At this point, the best we can hope for is a valiant battle against the inevitable, though under this coach and players, I’m certain it’ll be a meek acceptance and surrender.
