Forgot to post this.. Looking at all those that were sent in i'd have to say that generally the best one were the most simplistic. The hornet doesnt really lend itself to badge design.. it's just too "fussy" The fewer lines the better. Something like this
Do you recall the Harry badge we had in the mid 70's? The first one looked decidedly miffed about something but he only lasted one season and was replaced by a smiling waving Harry. I believe it was on the insistence of GT himself who said the angry one wasnt the image he wanted to project. That makes me wonder if GT had a say in changing to a Hart. I dare say he did as he was involved with every aspect of the club.
Why has the club decided upon what’s being offered as an alternative BEFORE we choose whether to change badge or not? Don’t they realise you’re supposed to decide: A) old badge or B) new badge; and then uphold that decision regardless of how awful the next badge may be?
Voted to keep current badge. If we change the badge it has to be replaced with a much better option than this. That new proposed badge looks like a clip art image from the 80s

Time for Moosey to shuffle off. And even if this vote doesn't do it, hopefully the club will use the list of moose-sympathisers they're going to gain from this voting process to ensure it happens long term. They know where you sit...
Yep. Voted keep the Moose. Well done to the winner of the competition but it's not good enough to swap.
The way i look at it is this... If we were a new team and we did not have a badge and you were presented these two options to represent our colours, nickname et al you would easily pick B. The moose as much as i like it, is ****. I and you only like it because it is ours and we identify with it. However it is pointless keeping it and if voting the bee helps the club evolve and move forward then i vote to let the Moose out to pasture. Get dumped move on, or be clingy and pine for her forever
I have to vote moose as, for a 50th birthday present to myself, I've just had the original badge tattooed on my face - if we change badges I'm going to look really foolish.
Everyone should be voting for the new badge to help commemorate us starting in a different league again next season.
If this new badge is voted for, I demand an indefinite implimentation period wherein we keep the old badge for as long as it takes until a second [rigged] vote can be arranged. That's democracy. Apparently.
I’m not averse to updating the badge and retiring mosey for a hornet, but the current badge just looks better than the fake ‘old fashioned’ look of the new one. If we just kept the current design but with a half decent looking hornet replacing the Hart and maybe 1881 on it as well I’d support a change. But A definitely beats the B of these two options.
