All your Vicarage Road stadium grumbles.

Noisy half time adverts hammering at your brain.

Jeez, don’t we pay enough to have a moment’s quiet contemplation of the awful game we’ve just been watching?

Main gripe is what those 10 men in yellow & black are doing, down there on the grassy bit.

Getting kicked in the back of the head by those in the disability seats in LGT and then being given a mouthful of abuse when asking them to take their feet off the bars. Paying over £400 for the privilege.

Leaving the Rookery walking up a muddy path at 0.25 mph in a fug of second hand smoke.

There's a long bit of string or wire with a knot on the end that hangs down from the Rookery roof right in my eyeline. It's been there for 2 years. Sort it aaart!

    How strong is it ?
You may want to use it if results continue in this vein....

  7. How many replays of action do they need to show at half time from 200 different angles.

Especially of opposition goals. No I don't want to see Tammy Abraham's goal yet again but this time from Geoffrey's partially obstructed view seat in the lower GT just behind Doris' head.

Having to see the words "Checking Penalty" when it isn't in our favor.

Watching QSF mope on the touchline.

Queing behind Deeney at half time concessions. :p

I sit in row L in LGT and dont have that problem. but fitting some coat hooks to those bars would be useful as well as your requested kick plate.

My biggest gripe is the secret cigar smoker above us in the UGT. Sets off a couple of coughing fits nearby.

I dont buy any refreshments at the ground, so cant say if they are good or bad, but if they improved the fare on offer, then maybe all those empty seats in the SEJ might get sold.

  12. I meant in the concourse while having a half time beer.

But those new screens are tiny and I can barely make out what's on the Vic one from the rookery!

From my seat I can just about see the side panel with the score on...nothing else

The bar is open after the match in the Rookery but no hot drinks available. I'm the driver in our group. On a cold, wet night like Saturday, it would be nice to have a hot cup of tea or coffee rather than a cold Coke or whatever.

This season you don't want to see that !!

  17. I remember there were loads up there after some kind of stand event for weeks. At least most of them have gone now.

Speaking of the rookery roof, there's a hole in it that drips around row TT seat 80ish that gets in my eyeline.

I say a leak, it pretty much comes down like rain than a drip. People sit their getting soaked even though we're a fair way from the end of the roof.

I would say something but if like to assume they have seeing as they're getting drenched every time it rains.

There is nothing to moan about. It's a football stadium, it's supposed to be a bit ****. Went behind enemy lines recently at the Spurs game and it was horrible. Bands playing crap cover versions in all the different bars, a street food marketplace, their own Beavertown brewery in the stand, people walking past with their Heineken dispensers on their back looking like booze Ghostbusters, trays of doughnuts every few metres.

I don't want that at the football, I want the smell of onions and grease as you walk up Vicarage Road, having to say "'scuse mate" every couple of yards as the Rookery concourse isn't big enough, a bit of a wait for the **** beer, seeing people you've never spoken to but recognise because they're Watford fans.

Our team is **** but our stadium is still a real football stadium, not sanitised and it's buried in a part of town you'd never willingly go to unless you needed a hospital visit (or to score drugs if that floats your boat). Up the Vic, already looking forward to the Championship Tuesday night games.

There's not really much to complain about these days, the stadium is looking good. Although as I've mentioned 87 times now, you can't see the screens from the back of the Rookery - a few simple low-level scoreboards in the advertising boards would do the trick. Oh and the PA is either like listening to somebody stuck down a very deep well, or like having Brian Blessed bellowing a foot away from your ear, there's no middle ground.

If they could tweak it so it sounds like Brian Blessed down a well, it might work.

I know it's more crowded, but it never used to be like this. Everyone just does a shuffle sort of walk and nobody tries to speed up if theres space or a pathway through. Its like an old lady is walking very slowly but nobody walks past her and instead form a line across occupation road that everyone else cannot breach. What's up with this? I got very annoyed last time I went - with a 2 hour journey back at 10pm, only to get stuck in a queue to walk.

Agree with @Steve Leo Beleck but would still like to be able to sit in my supposedly covered seat in Row UU of the Rookery without getting dripped on when it's raining.

It doesn’t help that the team bus is parked at the top opposite the shop.

Yes, very romantic. I don’t want all that bol!ocks either. I just want them to be able to serve a cup of tea in less than 5 minutes.

HoHoHo...the view of the screen from the back of the Rookery is almost non-existent & I assume it's the same for the Vic Road end also.

You'll get your tea when they're damn well ready. And when it arrives it will be hotter than molten lava and you won't be able to drink it for half an hour.

Had a Bovril there a couple of seasons ago and it burnt half my tongue off. Couldn't taste anything for a fortnight. Read the ingredients whilst I was waiting for it to cool down and that little cardboard cup of beefy goodness contained almost 2/3 of my recommended daily salt allowance

I went to a lot of away games last season and every experience was better than at the Vic, yes even West Ham. The catering is an absolute joke, (mainly down to the thick ****s they employ to serve), and has been for years and what the **** is going on with the ear splitting noise levels before the game and at half time? Sounds like it's getting worse. Glad I'm not going anymore.

Lucky to get your Bovril. It always amazes me that it has never seemed to occur to whoever runs the place that half-time could be a busy period.

Yeah but you never know when it's going to come. Could be 3.46pm. Could be 3 minutes later on a bad day. Best just to sit tight and deal with it when it happens.

My only complaint is the music before the game. Far too loud, one needs to put ones fingers in their ears.
    It really is truly dreadful.
