So, as I now understand it, you could miss every match as long as you let the club know, still get your season ticket for next season and miss all of those as well!
Be Sod's law we get relegated so most of the pickers and choosers that bug the club won't want season tickets anyway !! Naturally I hope we don't ofcouse ! Btw they will say Brighton is sold out but won't look it..
So there are now more tickets available around the ground than there were a few days ago so it seems like this system maybe in motion
Please don't buy my mate Paul's seat in the middle of the Rookery. I like to spread out a bit when he's not there. Oh hang on, just remembered I'll be standing all game this year with the 1881 moving over. Anyone know how that went by the way? Unless I missed a thread on it its gone quiet.
As an aside, seeing as we're on about season tickets, I'm an over 65 and sit in the Rookery with a supposed 'restricted view' because there's a tiny bit of railing at the top of a stairwell that marginally restricts my view of the Rookery/SE corner flag. But, seeing as we all stand up when the ball's down there anyway, it's not really a restricted view at all. So, how much would posters guess that season ticket might have set me back given all the flak around how much it's supposed to cost for an adult (allegedly) to watch the football these days?
Exactly. The number of games missable should be related to our form. After today, all ST holders should be allowed to avoid all matches until at least Christmas.
Despite the warnings still lots of empty seats yesterday. Did those not attending not head the warnings, club advised of non attending too late or lack of demand for tickets
I put my son’s up for sale a week before the game but no sale. I suppose single seats harder to sell than pairs?
I didn’t think there were anywhere near the usual number of empty seats, even in the Family Stand, especially given that we were playing Brighton and in August when many people are on holiday.
I understand the idea behind it, but it’s a weird sort of business that wants to have words with customers who want to pay full price and demand nothing in return. We also don’t seem to have considered how this policy will play out if we are awful this year.
#imagineif they expected people to spend their hard earned money on this embarrassment we call a Watford side currently.
They need to be worried about season ticket holders turning up. My 10 and 12 year old have both said we're going down. My son hates watching us lose and takes some persuading to go if we're playing someone decent. The opposite of those that only come out for the big games. He said he was only going v Arsenal as we had a new manager. Going to get more difficult to convince him to go soon. Do I have to let them know a day before if it looks like he thinks we're to **** and spineless to get a result?
Pozzo Out A boycott is the only way to show players and owner that this is not good enough. Get the message across loud and clear. Get out Pozzo. Get out Deeney. Get out the rest of you spineless idiots. Up the Watford.
