Loaded my fpl team up with city players. Should mean a great win for us with my luck. You're welcome!
Very sensible to go with Fernandinho, becuase he's still a great player. But I agree with your sentiment, because Otamendi is **** and always has been. Garcia should be tried alongside Fernandinho.
Can't wait for this. Football is bloody brilliant and I love it. Got a feeling we are going to win as well. 7-0 City.
I wouldn't have considered Man City as being a "bogey team" of ours, surely it's mostly just been that they've been a bigger club? https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ster-city-bogey-teams-premier-league-football Who might actually be our "bogey team" though? Could warrant its own thread even.
in 1881 we never would have even dreamed of seeing the likes of Aguero, Silva and Sterling competing to see who could get the most hat tricks against us!!! Thank you Pozzos! I will be cheering every goal, regardless of which team scores it, simply because I am a fan of football and enjoy watching amazing players whose names I've heard of from mates at work!!!
I feel u bro. I also recently applied for a position at Manchester City. To be honest it was a speculative application but I did spend an extra 20p on classy paper for my CV. I was applying for the position of 'attacking central midfielder' still haven't heard from the bastards.
I've applied for the role of Sebastien Prodl at Watford and am eminently qualified to collect £30k a week whilst doing nothing.
Might have to come out of retirement and sit on the bog for the whole 90 minutes tomorrow, just to keep the score below double figures.
Tbh i'd rather we play them now and get it out the way. It's still possible we might get something, but I'll be keeping an eye on Wolves too If they lose again, our meeting in a fortnight will be our second "relegation Six Pointer" in two months.
That is a ridiculous article ,in the last 119 league games (3 seasons and 5 games this season) Man City have lost 12 games That means that most teams haven’t beaten Man City in the last 3 years or last six matches. In addition before 15/16 we would have only come across them in cup competitions and we went for long spells where we dint play them (e.g didn’t play them 2002 to 2006. It’s no wonder we haven’t beaten them for a long time, and that’s before you add in factors such as the fact that their bench cost more than premier league sides. It’s a bit like saying Brazil must be our boggy side we have never beaten them at home !
No I'm waiting for Brexit. Most of city's midfielders are EU nationals, it's a joke. Does anyone seriously believe there are no English midfielders who could do as good a job as De Bruyne, D Silva and B Silva?!?!? Oh......sh!t.......ok........
I don’t think they’ll manage fifteen goals and we don’t even score fifty goals in a season. Tennis scores don’t happen in football.
what's your take on why we r so easy to score against? QSF seems to think there was too much space between the back and front 5 when we were chasing games under Javi.
That seemed to be the plan v Arsenal with Sarr running towards out from front of goal. Not sure it worked well but early days.
Helped that Cally could put the ball on a sixpence and Barnes was great at directing cushioned headers foot-volleyball style
