CB, plays for Nimes in Ligue 1. Report says he's a target for Marseille but there's also competition from us, Rennes and Frankfurt with offers of €6million already on the table. https://www.lephoceen.fr/infos-om/m...rs-de-ligue-1-toujours-cibles-par-l-om-170950
3rd highest rated player on whoscored for midtable Nimes last season, for what it's worth. Looks a chunky bugger - like somewhere between Harry Maguire and Xherdan Shaqiri. Checking out his stats he seems good at blocks and interceptions, okay at tackles, but poor in the air, with 4.3 attempted aerial duels per 90 minutes and only 2.3 won - for comparison, that 53% aerial win percentage is exactly the same as Mariappa's (and Mariappa attempted more at 5.5 per 90, winning 2.9). Here's a goal of his from a free header. Given his frame it's not surprising that it appears he struggles to get off the ground. If this would be our only CB signing it would be concerning given that none of our other CBs are especially imposing in the air.
As Confucius once said, if you need three alias' on the WFCForums, you are one sick puppy. Wow, that guy was certainly ahead of his time.
Totally stole the Confucius joke from GOBE. Suppose it was handy he didn't write it in Spanish as I know you have trouble with the translation.
Briancon - massive event where nerds circle jerk about their mutual love for Sci Fi actors, comic book characters and pop culture figures called Brian. It's s no from me.
Let’s face it, this window is ruined. Let’s accept the inevitable and concentrate on building a team that can avoid relegation to Div One in the season after.
Spent 10 mins this morning trying to find the full unedited version of this Monty Python/Peter Cook 1976 court case sketch which is bloody hilarious. Watch it if you haven't seen it before. The classic bit which this thread reminded me of is Cleese - "You are Michael Norman Smith, alias Michael Norman Smith?" Cook - "Yes M'Lud" Cleese - "Why is your alias the same as your real name?" Cook - "Well i used to use the name "Henry Alias" but this got me into suspicions in the eyes of the law" but can only find edited versions which exclude the last 2 lines which are cut out at 2.00. Very odd.
Briancon is in the heart of the Alps; from there you can do the Cols de Lauteret, Galibier, Izoard, Montgenevre, Granon. Good cycling base. Just saying.
Briancon is the Brian equivlant of Defcon 1....to be used when the US Military Chief of Staff is called Brian.
